This was pretty much as bad as it gets. First of all, we had booked a room with bathtub, but sadly when we arrived there was none to be found. We got moved to a new room after one night, which had a bathtub, bare big enough for a toddler. At that time we were done complaining about it though, as we had been upgraded to it. We stayed for 4 days and our room was not cleaned once during our stay.
The restaurant (Dijon) was another story altogether. We had ordered stake at our first night, and it was severely overlooked . Out of politeness we did not complain. Breakfast the next morning was rough.
It was an overpriced and underwhelming Continental buffet. We took 2 yogurt cups with us and when we were about to eat them we realized they were expired for a week already. I brought this to the attention of the waiting staff, and they took them away, but did not bring new ones. When checking the buffet later I saw that the entire yogurts were all expired and had not been remived, and it was 30 minutes after our initial comment. The waiting staff then again went to the kitchen and finally the items were removed.
The staff then also complained that I did not leave a tip for the breakfast. I was actually surprised to get a bill at all after being served expired food, and the response was an angry look and a comment along the lines of - it is not my fault you picked expired items.
Overall very disappointing experience, and quite the surprising one, compared to previous HILTON visits
