"It's a bit of an up-hill trek to this hotel, but totally worth the effort. This historic property sits at the base of the Matterhorn, which we could see from our balcony. It was lovely. The property is very charming, but the staff at the desk was less so. And the beds were quite hard. However, I would still highly recommend this hotel."

"We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed it immensely!! It was a few blocks from the train station and the gornergrat station - it was easy to locate off of the Main Street . Ms. Patricia at the front desk was very sweet and helpful as was one of the young men . The room was very comfortable - the hotel was modern and beautiful. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of choices and excellent coffee selections from the 2 machines they had . The town was easy to navigate and we enjoyed its beauty and the almost full view of the Matterhorn 😀"
