"El hotel estaba limpio en general; sin embargo, desde la segunda noche de nuestra estancia comenzó a salir un olor muy desagradable del baño de la habitación, lo cual hizo la experiencia bastante incómoda. El servicio del personal fue uno de los aspectos más decepcionantes. La atención fue muy deficiente, con respuestas poco educadas y una actitud de desinterés constante. En los restaurantes el servicio también fue muy malo: el personal no prestaba atención y en ningún momento ofrecían disculpas ante los inconvenientes. Se notaba una falta total de motivación y amabilidad. La comida tampoco estuvo a la altura. En el buffet, la comida casi siempre estaba fría y daba la impresión de que reutilizaban alimentos del día anterior. De los seis restaurantes incluidos, la mayoría fueron decepcionantes; el único que consideramos aceptable fue el restaurante español “La Fuente”. El WiFi fue otro gran problema, ya que prácticamente nunca funcionaba correctamente. En cuanto a las instalaciones, son bastante normales y nada extraordinarias. La playa permaneció sucia durante casi toda nuestra estancia y curiosamente la limpiaron justo el día de nuestro regreso. En general, la experiencia estuvo muy por debajo de lo esperado y definitivamente no corresponde al nivel de servicio que el hotel aparenta ofrecer."

"Numerous items broken in the room. We had to call and beg several times for water to be refilled in the mini fridge. The restaurants requiring reservation were good, others had extremely long wait times but weren’t even filled. The staff were friendly and entertaining. The drinks from the bar were always good. The resort recommended transportation and excursions— both were a hassle."

"The resort was beautiful! We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday, and it was the perfect location. Our room was clean and had all amenities that we needed. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely visit again!"

"This was our first time to Dominican Republic and the dreams onyx hotel was absolutely great. We didn’t realize booking through Expedia we would have a dedicated concierge and boy was he fabulous. Breilin was available most of the day for anything we needed. Towels or drinks for the room? He did It. Making sure our transportation back to PUJ airport done. Bell boys to bring down our luggage? He made everything happen. Breilin truly made our stay easy and welcoming!"

"Our stay was everything we wanted and more! The resort was beautiful, clean, and so relaxing from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We loved the atmosphere, the amenities, and how peaceful everything felt. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for the perfect getaway!"
