The nicest downtown area. El zocalo is the most pedestrian friendly, as well as the other pedestrisn only streets leading into it. I love the idea that they don't allow all the food and candy vendors in the zocalo. It makes ot more pleasant.

Puebla's charm, history, cathedral, cuisine and tunnels impressed us. It's an easy bus trip from Mexico City and should not be overlooked travelling around beautiful Mexico.

The food, people and zocolo were colorful and inviting. I wish there was cheaper shipping of handicrafts back to the US. Parts of Puebla look a bit run down with trash everywhere. Not sure we will return but we had a nice time while we were there.

Puebla is a beautiful city to explore. Smaller, less crowded and less expensive than some of the more popular places liked Oaxaca, but we enjoyed every minute there and would love the chance to return.
