Another Great Stay !
Our third stay at the lovely Main Street Cottage. It has everything we needed and we all enjoyed it immensely. The hosts are excellent. All communications were timely and informative. Everything in the home is well marked and clear instructions are readily available where needed. It is cozy and comfortable, and a perfect location from which to visit the County’s many wineries and shops, with several restaurants within a few minutes walk (as is the beach) We definitely hope to stay at the Cottage again !!

Delightful
Great location, quaint spot that is beautifully decorated and maintained. Cozy and well set up. Really nice to be so close to everything. It’s easy to walk to cafes, a brewery, groceries, a park and library. Also great in terms of location to the wineries and the lake. We are happy to stay there again!

Wellington Family Getaway
The property is very well maintained and centrally located. Sandbank’s beach passes were greatly appreciated as we spent a day climbing dunes and enjoying the beach with the kids. Many wineries and the Millennium bike path close by. Kids also had a blast at the park across the street while the adults admired the view. Thanks for the wine Richard! You are a good host, accessible and friendly. We loved your home: it’s nicely renovated and had everything we needed.

Beautiful house in a perfect location!
We were a party of 6 adults (50+) and we really enjoyed this house. This was our 14th season in Sandbanks and this is one of the great location we had. The location is very interesting: lot of restaurants, local brewery, small boutiques nearby. It tooks us 2 minutes to go to the grocery store. The house was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked. The sound bar was great: we had very nice dinner with great music every night. The owner was easy to contact and super quick to react. Definitely recommend!

Best way to enjoy PEC
The cottage is well equipped and in a very convenient location. Walking distance to everything in Wellington, which has more to offer than we imagined. And a short drive to Picton, wineries, and Sandbanks provincial park. Richard is a great host.

A Great Experience
A charming older house that’s been tastefully renovated. It has a breezy feel that’s perfect for a beach vacation. Everything in town is literally right around the corner. Richard’s thought of all of the details, making for a relaxing and easy stay. Highly recommended!

Location ...perfect The cottage is just as pictured on-line. What is not emphasized on-line is the ease with which Richard welcomes guests to stay. Very accomodating and outlines ALL features you may have questions about. The cottage is warm, welcoming, and spacicious. We had wonderful weather in late May, so were able to make use of the deck/grill. Cannot say enough positive things about Mainstreet Cottage...except we have every intention of returning!

Beautiful accommodations in the heart of Wellington
Wonderful weekend stay in this great cottage! All required amenities were all on hand and plentiful. Beautifully decorated with books and games for all ages. Situated perfectly across the street from a park with access right to Lake Ontario and walking distance to shops and restaurants - could not ask for a better location! Our host Richard was in regular communication with us throughout the process and check-in was a breeze! I highly recommend this as a destination for families looking for a getaway in PEC!

We had an amazing weekend in PEC. Our stay at Main Street Cottage was so wonderful. The house was comfortable, cozy and in a perfect and convenient location. This cozy house is in a central location close to all that Wellington has to offer. The layout suited our family perfectly and everyone enjoyed the stylish and relaxing decor. A well equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare the big New Years meals. Thanks to the hosts who are excellent communicators.

Beautiful part of the country
Spent Christmas with the family in this love clean house, although we had a snow storm it didn’t stop us from walking around the town once it had passed, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

Wonderful Cozy Home
We had a wonderful stay at Richard’s home. It is perfectly located on the main strip, just steps away from great shopping and restaurants. The rooms are well appointed and cozy. The front porch is a lovely spot for morning coffee or a quiet reading nook. Richard is very attentive and committed to making sure your stay is perfect. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful weekend in Wellington!
Thanksgiving weekend was wonderful thanks to our stay at Main Street Cottage in Prince Edward County. Location, location, location! In the heart of Wellington village within very short walking distance to restaurants, pubs, groceries and Lake Ontario. Richard & Lourdes are warm and welcoming owners, communication with whom was rapidly responsive. Highly recommended!

Main Street Cottage
We had great communication with Richard before our check in and during our stay. The location is perfect because you can walk to shops, bars and dining. In the car you are close to most of the great PEC wineries. In fact we were able to hit10 wineries on our first day. The Cottage is lovely and very comfortable, especially the beds. I didn’t pay attention to the amenities so remember to bring your own soap and shampoo. We would definitely return.

A lovely home on Main Street
We had a lovely two week stay at this delightful tastefully decorated home on Main Street in Wellington ON. It was convenient for local shops and restaurants and it was great to sit in the porch and watch the world go by. The back garden also had good seating where you could eat outside. It was a good location for exploring this part of Ontario and there are plenty of things to see. The house was well furnished, comfortable, good facilities and well equipped and felt like home. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Time to reconnect
This VRBO was everything I was hoping for and more. My friends and family enjoyed exploring wineries, shops, dunes, restaurants and going for walks. It is a perfect location with lots of parking. It was off season so not as busy and the weather was reasonable. There is a fantastic park for children across the street with gorgeous views of the water. The living room is comfy. I love how the windows let in so much light. The dining room and kitchen are great for meals or games. I loved the rain shower downstairs and fluffy towels. There were lots of compliments from guests. Richard was available by email to answer my questions. This place is a gem!

Great weekend getaway
We decided to have a weekend getaway even though December is not the ideal month to experience Wellington. However, we had good weather except for the wind! The cottage met our needs with 3 comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a great location. We spent time touring the area and enjoying time at a local winery. Dinner was excellent at East Main and we would highly recommend it for a meal. Richard was a good host and all in all, it was a wonderful weekend at a great place.

Main Street cottage was cozy, clean and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. Perfect location! Although an earlier check in was not possible on the day we arrived, we were able to park in the driveway and enjoy our afternoon in Wellington. Richard was a great host. We are planning on coming back next summer to enjoy the gorgeous backyard.

50th Birthday Girls Weekend
We were a group of 6 women celebrating a milestone birthday and wanting to visit beautiful PEC. So happy to have found this gorgeous gem of a vacation home nestled right in the centre of Wellington, directly on the Main Street and within walking distance to beautiful shops, quaint cafes and popular hotspots like the Drake Devonshire and the Lakeside Motel. This home is bright and airy and so comfortable. Lovely back deck and cute front screened in porch for relaxing with a glass of wine. Beachy decor is exquisite and we felt like we were at a home in the Hamptons. The home is equipped with all the necessities and beyond. Absolutely a perfect place to call home while you explore all the County has to offer!

Charming Cottage
We spent three nights at this delightful cottage located right in the heart of Wellington, Prince Edward County. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it as an excellent option for anyone visiting the county looking for a well equipped, charming cottage that is centrally located and close to great wineries (Hinterland, Trail Estate, The Grange, and more), excellent restaurants (Flame & Smith; Stellas, to name our favorites). The cottage has a fantastic porch on the front that is nicely furnished with comfortable chairs and the perfect vantage point to people watch folks strolling past on Main Street. We found Richard to be an attentive host who was quick to sort out a concern we had in a helpful and friendly manner. We look forward to our return to PEC and would return to this property again.
