Incredible views from room and terrace. Staff were wonderful, friendly, always wanting to help with whatever you need. Breakfasts were wonderful, incredible selection, view and live music each day. Pool is lovely and has pool bar staffed, beach access very comfortable, includes menu of food and drinks. Water taxi available for pickup from Positano pier is so helpful. We enjoyed the spa on the property as well as the two restaurants available.

The hotel had a great views. It was quit away from all the busy streets. Great pool and beach area. The staff was very helpful. Great breakfast. If you like to relax this is the place for you.

The views from this hotel are absolutely incredible, and the heated pool is a great bonus! It’s located a bit outside Positano’s city center, but they do offer an hourly shuttle bus. Just a heads-up — the shuttle can fill up quickly, and if you miss it, you’ll need to wait for the next one. There’s also a private beach and a boat taxi to the Positano port, but both close in October, so keep that in mind when booking your stay. The gym doesn’t open until 9 a.m., which might be a little late if you like to work out early. Overall, a decent stay with stunning views and good amenities — just plan ahead for transportation and seasonal closures.

WOW…we didn’t know what to expect and we found heaven @ Hotel Le Agavi. From the front desk staff, room service, housekeeping and the Sommelier!! 15 out of 10 stars. If you want to pay a little more to have your own beach club, Pool, restaurants, spa, gym this is your spot. If you want luxury service with the best view of the coast, Le Agavi. Free shuttle into town to go out every night or you can take the boat taxi. We absolutely loved it and we will be back next year.

This is a fantastic hotel; probably the most unique hotel experience I have had anywhere at anytime in my life. Incredible views, rooms and service. An outstanding experience.....worth every penny!

Had an incredible stay at Le Agavi. The property is very charming and breathtaking. Best part is they have their own beach access for swimming. The room was comfortable and appeared to be recently renovated. The entire staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for an upscale and quality hotel Le Agavi is a perfect fit.

The property overall was very nice. The views were excellent! The rooms were clean and had beautiful views. Some of the staff were great, others not as friendly as we would have expected. It is a tough walk to the city center (a shuttle is available however) as the hotel is not very close to the city center. The “beach” is not a sandy beach- it is a “dock” where you can enter the water. The lounge area at the water is very nice and has a restaurant. The pool was very nice (heated) and again had beautiful views.

This was the best stay ever!!! The staff was so friendly and helped us book an airport pick up and drop off, they had an amazing restaurant with great experience!! The shuttle was so convenient and they sent us comp champagne for our honeymoon!!! Loved it!

Funicular broken, had to do 8 flights of stairs outside in the rain. Shower blocked and overflowing even after repairs. Ceiling was leaking because of the rain so the maintenance workers were making loud construction noise. Included breakfast is fake powder-like scrambled eggs, no omelettes, benedictines, etc. The view, the location, the private beach front are really nice. My wife and I stayed three nights in a "supposedly deluxe room with large terrace", the hotel quality, the rooms and service is 3-Star at best, nowhere close to a 5-star.

Hotel Le Agavi is a beautiful hotel which exceeded all of our expectations. The staff's attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly set the tone for a memorable stay. Breakfast was astonishing as you are overlooking the ocean and serenaded by live string instrumentalists. The shuttle service was very convenient. We recommend this place it to anyone looking for a high-quality experience in Positano.

The funicular to the beach was very unique. The beach restaurant was fabulous! We had dinner there one night and it was very special. Our room was beautiful, roomy 2 person shower, huge terrance with spectacular views. Everything about this hotel was 5 star. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

We loved this hotel. Away from the business of the main area in positano. But the shuttle and water taxis made it easy to get to town when you wanted to. We enjoyed the beach club, the pool and the spa. The concierge was so helpful. Arranging car services, dinner reservations and even helping with a boat tour. Every server, shuttle driver, boat captain was so incredibly friendly. We stayed an extra day.

Hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location . Staff excellent. The restaurant is great but fine dining isn’t something I would do for 4 nights and there’s only room service as an option. The other (beach bar) was closed. Finally it is advertised as having air conditioning. This is only set to heating until May so there was no air conditioning.

When you enter the main gate you’ll feel like you’re in weird hood but once you enter the hotel you’ll be in paradise. The views from everywhere in this hotel are to die for. Waking up to the sunrise and the lake was amazing. The service, food and attention was absolutely incredible. The only thing missing is an elevator from the ground level to bring your bags down to the reception. This is the only place I would stay from now on when visiting Positano. If you can afford it book it !! You won’t be disappointed.

We had an incredible two days, everything was very nice, the view of the room, the room cleaning, everything was very well thought out. It was a very elegant move that they came to the room in the evenings, closed the curtains, prepared the bed for sleep and left chocolates on the pillows. It was also great that they ironed our clothes without asking us. We were incredibly happy. The only thing missing was the breakfast, which could have been better. Thanks to you, the hotel we will stay at every time we come to Positano has been determined.
