"Wonderful hosts G. and his son A. met us and helped us take our luggage down the steps to their property. They were very responsive to any requests we had during our stay and even brought over some needed items. This was one of the largest places we stayed during our entire Italian vacation and was very affordable. "I loved Hotel Montemare. We had a spacious room with a beautiful view and deck. On our deck we had a hot tub, lounge chairs and a patio table. We loved spending time outside on the deck enjoying the views. It did get noisy later at night because there was a hotel bar right above where we stayed. The staff was super friendly. Every spot in the hotel had beautiful views of Positano! We could walk about 350 stairs to the beach area of Positano, which was convenient (and a workout!). The breakfast was super delicious! Amazing location and wonderful experience overall."

The breakfast was excellent, and the dinner consistently exceeded expectations, always accompanied by the chef's thoughtful hospitality.
