We had a lovely stay at Florida Residence. Amalia was so helpful and kind and the location was great. Walkable to the beach and main shopping and dining areas in Positano. The apartment was also very large and nice. Would highly recommend.

We were so happy to have booked a stay at the Florida Residence during our time in Positano. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Free breakfast was a great plus and the location itself was perfect. We felt at home at the Florida residence and made our stay in Positano unforgettable.

Good location with walking to multiple restaurants. Fantastic views to relax and admire Positano. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite noisy and we were unable to get a good night sleep due to hearing people near us and staff at night and early morning. Bed comfort was ok but could definitely be updated for the price you’re paying to stay here.

What a view! Such a fantastic spot in Positano. Up the hill but surrounded by gorgeous restaurants and a view that is breathtaking. The staff are wonderful and made us so very welcome. Its like walking in to a beaufiful families home and feeling welcome. The kind owners found the perfect room for us at a very last moment and made sure it was perfect. They go out of their way to be kind , helpful and welcoming. Wonderful!

Just ridiculous price for a 2 star hotel with a lumpy mattress, unfriendly service from Rafael (friendly service from all others) . Hotel florida has no right to charge euro450 even in peak season. Sorrento or any other place other than P is so much better value for money

Charming hotel with personal attention and lovely staff. Loved the location and views for days. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. A perfect home base to explore Positano and surrounding areas. We stayed 5 nights at Florida Residence. Nice central location in Positano, close to beaches and restaurants. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was really good. Large balcony with beautiful views. I would definitely recommend!

I cannot recommend Florida Residence enough. The staff were so kind and the property is located in an ideal area of Positano. All restaurants, shops, and beaches were within walking distance, but the balconies had some of the most incredible views of the coast. The complimentary breakfast each morning was also spectacular.

The customer service here was great, the staff was super friendly. The rooms are a bit outdated but it was cozy inside. Location was near the beaches and lots of shopping/restaurants. The parking situation was also very helpful.. as soon as we got there they took over and our car was safe for the 4 days we were there

Gorgeous balconies along with extraordinary staff
Parking in Positano is normally expensive and sometimes impossibly rare - but not at Florida. There was free onsite parking. The staff, Luigi in particular, were extraordinarily nice and ensured we had everything we needed. We booked a sea view room and it had the perfect balcony. The A/C worked great. The bed was not comfortable by American standards but was typical for Europe. The walk up from the sea isn't as bad you'd think (and our latest trip was in July!)

Beautiful apartment with a view of Positano. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable and the breakfast was varied. Angelo helped us park the car and even gave tips to visit Fornilo beach, advice on which the public bus to get to the Path of the Gods and organised a bus for us to get to La Tagliata. Highly recommend Florida Residence to all visitors.

This hotel had a family feel. Very welcoming. We were picked up at the bus stop and driven to our hotel by golf cart. Our luggage carried up the stairs to our room. Very helpful with information about Positano. Nice breakfast on rooftop with view of the Mediterranean Sea. Our room had a patio with sea view. Clean room with updated bathroom. You could walk to the beach and shopping area (probably a mile) or take the local bus. Were taken by golf cart to bus stop on our departure. Beautiful location, quiet. Way to go Florida Residence.

Wonderful view from the lobby and breakfast garden and also in rooms if you get the ocean view option! The view was absolutely perfect from this hotel since you can see the town and the ocean. Room was spacious as well as the bathroom. Super friendly hosts that go above and beyond to accommodate!

Wonderful location in Positano and fair price. We were there 6 days and never had any cleaning service. Beautiful views, not the most comfortable beds and tiny tiny bathrooms. Easy access from the main road and a central location in Positano.

Beautiful Hotel and kind Hosts!
I adored this wonderful hotel. The staff was kind and attentive. The room was lovely and the view of the sea was stupendous. I really don't understand the previous reviews from other guest who were negative about things. It was a charming place to stay and I would gladly recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was also above and beyond what one normally receives in such places. Positano has always been my special place. The Florida Residence made it even more so.

Awesome and affordable place in Positano. The breakfast had it's normal European selection of cheese, bread, and hot foods such as eggs, hard boiled eggs, and sausage. Also, there was a whole selection of fruit juices. coffee, and tea. The room has a remarkable view of the city and the customer service was great. Although it is a 15-20 minute walk to the main center, it saved us a lot of money. Really great for people who are active and can walk uphill and downhill. The room smelt unique, but the whole stay was 10/10. Definitely would recommend to others

We had a great experience at Florida Residence, although I felt if I had spoken Italian it would have been that much better! A/C only worked in one room, which in July, was really hot! Rooms were clean and we were left alone (no room service, linen changing or re-stocking). Paying high season prices, I would have hoped for a little more high-tough service, but all in all, this was a great place to stay. Easy to get to the beach (both) and restaurants just around the corner. We loved our time in Positano!

We arrived to Positano and were able to check in early. The family staff that runs this hotel was so kind and welcoming! We enjoyed the amazing view from our terrace and the breakfast on the veranda in the morning. It was so cute to have our name on an "arriving guest list" for the day!

Highly recommend Florida Residence!
We had such a wonderful time in Positano, in large part thanks to our stay at Florida Residence. It's an especially great option if you're driving, as they have free onsite parking (which is a rare commodity in Positano). The staff at Florida Residence was so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay a great one, including greeting us at the entrance and parking our car, providing recommendations for the beach, making us breakfast, and giving a nice tour of the building. Even though it's here on VRBO, we'd compare this to a hotel experience (and a great one at that). The view from our balcony was unbeatable and even better than we expected. The location was perfect --- close proximity to shops and restaurants and a short walk to the city center and beach, yet back far enough from both that it was a little quieter. Make sure you stay here if you are visiting Positano!

Great hotel in Positano. Very good location just 10 mins away from the main attractions. The hotel has free parking which it is a big plus in Positano. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended.

The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable for the entire week. Excellent service, incredible location close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Beautiful views. Off-street parking is priceless in Positano too.

We did not go. And we were still charged for 1 night. Over $400. I am disgusted with this. This was our first and last time with Expedia!! We had booked this many weeks ago. I noticed towards the end of May a charge from this hotel. I find out that it's too late to cancel. I call on 3 separate occasions to Expedia explaining we would not be going. We've had an illness in the family PLUS both of my sons were in separate serious car accidents. Each and every time I was told you would look into helping us and promised an email or a call back with 24 hours...….not once, but 3 times!!! No call back, no email. UNBELIEVABLE!! Not the way to run a business. I was sceptical about doing this versus using a travel agent. Your service proved me right. Disgusting! I've heard about this happening before with you guys, I guess you got your money!! Circumstances can change......you would think a simple procedure for your clients would be an email maybe 24 hrs before your deadline to remind people just in case, like with us circumstances changed! No need to reply, LOL. You haven't yet, I'd be shocked now!!!
