The furniture is old, scratched and with missing bits and pieces, the staff is generally very rude, and the automated check-in has an hidden fee (very small but still a percentage of the city tax is levied for the cost of keeping the system) and it doesn't allow for an opt out of the privacy regulations (by law only necessary information can be retained while the hotel needs to give an option not to consent for the rest).
