"Everything was good"

"Great location right across from the beach but it should be noted this is a “hippie” beach. There are a lot of homeless people in the area. At times I didn’t feel comfortable walking around alone with my teenage daughter, The room in general was a good size but the bathroom is SMALL with only a pedestal sink (not ideal for girls who have make-up or self care routines) The balcony with a view of the ocean almost makes up for it. The staff seem uninterested at best. Give you the line that they are available 24/7 but with a tone that suggests they would rather not be bothered. Also, there is no elevator. Not ideal for those that have to drag but luggage up to the third floor,"

"The room smelled funky but was clean and comfortable. We were only there one night. It was on a corner of some busy streets and we heard several sirens at night. The parking was small. For the price, I didn't expect anything better."

"Super close to the beach! Clean rooms and bathrooms. Hard to find parking on Wednesday night's due to night market but clears up around 9p. "

"We stay here several times a year. This particular Homewood Suites has one of the best breakfast buffets of the chain. Lots of local flavor. The location is excellent, close to all of the things Liberty Station has to offer. The staff has always been very helpful, and they have an on-demand airport shuttle. You will hear airplanes, but that's true of a surprisingly large part of San Diego."
