"First time staying at a hotel in Shelter Island and I loved the place. Beautiful view of the bay and marina especially at sunset. Very peaceful and relaxing surroundings, perfect place for vacationing. "

I had a hard time finding a menu online. I would have liked a written hotel instruction manual with menus in the room. I didn’t use the pool but it looked quite small. "

"Due to hotel being overbooked, we were given a room at the sister hotel. We are grateful for the ease of this but we wish we had been notified in advance as our arrival was after midnight. The front desk attendant was very helpful and made the situation a lot better than it could have been. "
