Waterfront Living w Stunning Views, Beautiful Decor, Kayaks, Private drive
10/10 Excellent
"Great place right on the water. There used to be a lobster business there. However, the Pappos' have done a great job of renovating and decorating. (Love the master bath.) The view is really the star of the show - with Annisquam Harbor right in front and the foot bridge to the village on the right. We walked to every place in Annisquam; and hung out on the porch in the mornings. We also rented a larger boat and was able to use the community dock (at high tide) on the bridge. The driveway was a little heart stopping 'cuz it is so steep. (You'll see) And the parking for our multiple cars tight. But just a wonderful place to hang with my brothers in a place (Annisquam) we hold dear to our family."
"Wonderful views from the house and the deck. We ended up eating most of our meals on the deck. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and, for a coffee lover, lots of options for making coffee. Bed in master was comfortable and there was more than enough space for a couple.Location was great too. could walk the dog safely within the neighborhood and Plum Cove Beach was only a short walk away. Wasn't previously familiar with this side of Gloucester. Though the speed limits are low, there was very little traffic when we ventured out until we reached 128. We didn't hit Rockport on this trip, but it is just a short drive away, as is Halibut Point. Grocery store is within 15 minutes and had good prices relative to back home.We had an issue with the AC and received a prompt response from the listing company - someone was on site within 30 minutes. AC continued to have some problems (cutting off) but we found a work around. This was the only minor inconvenience of the stay."

"Very nice quaint little Condo. The spiral staircase was a bit difficult to navigate, but thankfully our 24 yo son was the only one who had to go up there. Th location was perfect as we had a family wedding at the Anisquam Yacht Club. When we arrived, it was unseasonably warm (heat wave) and the main AC unit wasn’t working. Thankfully the bedroom unit was working and the upstairs units also. They cooled the place off until the host was able to get there the next day and fix the issue. The ocean breeze at night with the fan provided made it very comfortable and by the time we had to get ready for the wedding, the unit was repaired. Very responsive host! Charming unit that was very well equipped with anything you needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
"I loved the charm of this historic home situated super close to the water and the beach. The neighborhood is just beautiful. The renovations done on the home have really maximized it's space and amenities. The upstairs shower is in a alcove so tall people may need to stay on the ground floor. We had a great time."
"Pros: The house is huge and very clean. The view from the window is amazing. The beds are super comfortable, and the heated blankets were a great touch.Cons: In my opinion, the parking is slightly inconvenient - you have to go around the house and park essentially on the road (though, to be fair, there’s hardly any traffic there). Also, you have to take the trash to a dumpster located up the street. If you have a lot of trash, it’s a bit too far and heavy to go on foot.Overall: We loved it! Honestly, the cons are very minor compared to all the pros."
"We really enjoyed the ocean view, kayaking on the private beach and playing tennis. Kids enjoyed the playground, playing on the beach and running around on the grass. "
