We loved staying here! It was perfect! The room was comfortable and well decorated. We had everything we needed and it is a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and the ocean. We will definitely be back and recommend staying here without hesitation!

Well cared for Inn—nice amenities also. Owner is very accommodating; however, if you are older or have bad knees request a room on the first floor. The stairs to our room were extremely steep and narrow.

Amazing Stay on Valentines Day:)

The Host is amazing. We received the best breakfast and I recommend to stay here and Rockport is lovely. It is perfectly located near all the good spots:)

Beautiful place. As others have said stairs are very steep so ask for the first floor options unless you and your knees/hips are in tip top shape. Loved Rockport and we could walk to everything. Stairs are the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars

A hidden jewel

This is one of the best places we have stayed. The facilities were immaculate. Room perfect in comfort and detail. Very short walk to shops and restaurants. Lovely owners and welcoming reception!

My stay at Addison Choate was nothing short of magnificent. I was in town for a work training be held at Endicott College- while that's a 1/2 away- every night returning to Addison Choate I felt like I was going home. Marshall and Courtney took such great care of me, their property, and everyone I encountered there. I mean, they left more candies of the ones I had eaten all of in the remaining days after discovering my preference. They went out of their way to make my stay special but recommending local restaurants, making sure my cable got the US Open on it, and even picking something for me that would have been closed once I returned from work. in a word- AMAZING. Stay here. DO IT!

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Clean, quaint, quiet and perfectly located I Gloucester. Host was exceptionally attentive and helpful. Wonderful breakfast waiting for us when we arose. We will be back.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Odd to wish for more time inside a hotel, but this was such a unique place, beautifully renovated, and beyond welcoming from the pre-check-in messages to the grab-n-go breakfast. I will be back!

Cannot say enough good things about my stay here. Marshall was extremely professional, polite, and courteous. Our room was clean, cozy and just perfect for us, we didn’t want to leave.
