The home is perfect for couples, small families, or larger families looking for a private, peaceful retreat surrounded by nature while still being just a 3-minute walk from the beach and great restaurants. It truly offers the best of both worlds. The hosts were exceptional in every way. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodated every request with genuine kindness, and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their hospitality was simply outstanding. Every morning we looked forward to the delicious, fresh breakfast, and we spent many relaxing hours enjoying the gorgeous pool. One of the highlights of our trip was that our kids took surfing lessons with the owner—they absolutely loved the experience and are already talking about coming back! We traveled with our 17-, 20-, and 24-year-old children, and every single one of us had an amazing time. It’s rare to find a place that everyone in the family enjoys, but this property exceeded all of our expectations. "Awesome location - literally steps from the water, you can see the tide come in from the balcony and hear the ocean from your room (& smell the sea air too). Well equipped little cabin room with functional kitchen and fridge. Had some power and water outages the first couple days, and the room gets a bit hot in the afternoons - sort of like a camping/cabin experience but right on the water with some jungle behind you. Host very friendly responsive, tap water is clean for drinking, and area is very safe. Bring water shoes/reef booties. Easiest town is Playa Negra 15min up the beach for a few shops."
