You can hear the ocean waves all night, the monkeys in the morning and evening and even new animal visitors that make an appearance. Baby Sea turtles released a few door down. Beautiful sunsets. "Jason’s condo was just as described - clean, quiet and appeared to have been freshly painted. The beds were comfortable, linens & towels updated and there were plenty of beach accessories - chairs, noodles & boogie boards. Kitchen was well stocked and a great view from the upstairs patio. "

"Castillo de Coral was absolutely amazing! It exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about the house - from the new in-ground pool, to the spacious bedrooms with ocean views, to the gorgeous and spacious bathrooms, the ability to open all the doors by the kitchen to create and indoor-outdoor living space and to the direct access to the beach! We also appreciate that how responsive the host was. She host supplied the items we requested - including a salad spinner, corn hole (to play on the beach) and new lighters for the gas stove. We loved cooking in the spacious kitchen, and the fact that the kitchen had a huge pantry where we could store our dried goods, was great! We also loved the outdoor shower and the covered cabana on the beach! "

"We brought our kids and grandkids so there were 21 of us ages 5-74We absolutely loved everything. The house is designed so everyone has privacy if needed. "This place is even more beautiful than I thought it would be! It was perfect for us, who are avid campers and love living outdoors. The cabin is located on the top of a hill (about 30 steps down to the beach). There are 2 other cabins at the top of the hill. One is directly beside this cabin, which hinders the privacy. The other place is pretty hidden by the trees. We had complete privacy during the week, but not on the weekend. At night we walked the beach with flashlights and we saw a sea turtle! On our last morning we finally saw the 9 howler monkeys that woke us up each day and we saw a pod of whales swim by!!! Bring binoculars!! You can snorkel right at the bottom of the hill (we saw a variety of small colourful fish, others saw a sea turtle). Playa Negra is 20 minutes up the beach and the surfing there is incredible. We watched some pro surfers. You can also surf right at the bottom of the hill. Advanced surfing. There is a sandy beach 10 minutes south (halfway between cabin and Playa Negra) which was perfect for swimming. The road in is very rugged and hard to navigate at first - don’t arrive at nighttime!! The kitchen is well stocked, however, the main issue is the fridge! It is tiny and does not keep food/drinks cold -especially in the heat. A full-sized fridge is greatly needed here as it is remote and very hot. Bring a big cooler and lots of ice!! We would definitely come back to this place. Beatrice was fantastic and made sure we had what we needed. AMAZING PLACE!"
