Playa Avellanas Beach House • Walk to the Beach

Welcome to our Playa Avellanas Beach House, with 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on a beautiful, privately gated half-acre property, just a short scenic walk to the gorgeous white-sand beach out front through the neighboring world-famous mangrove boardwalk.

The third bedroom is our large living and dining room, which doubles as an extra guest bedroom with a king bed and twin sofa bed. It’s the largest room in the house and makes a comfortable, flexible space for families and groups.

Each bedroom has a very comfortable California king-size bed with 1500-count Egyptian cotton sheets, ice-cold air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a Smart TV, with extremely reliable high-speed WiFi throughout.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, a large teak dining table, and plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from, including five oversized hammocks to relax in.

We are centrally located, making it an easy walk to a number of great nearby restaurants, bars, cafés, local shops, and two small grocery stores, making a rental car completely unnecessary.

Enjoy our beautiful beaches, incredible sunsets, and all the tropical nature surrounding us, where you will see monkeys, parrots, and lots of other amazing wildlife.

We’re happy to help arrange airport transportation, private drivers, tours, surf lessons, and surfboard rentals during your stay, and we include boogie boards with your rental free of charge.

Whether you’re coming for a week, a month, or spending the winter here in Costa Rica, we know you’ll feel completely at home.

The property has two other smaller houses, each completely private and separate, sharing only the gated entrance.
