"La Norma is a lovely boutique property with an especially appealing design. Personally I can't stand big corporate soulless hotels; unique boutiques ALWAYS have more personality. Sam and his staff run there's like a family. They truly want you to have a great experience and would bend over backward to accommodate you or give you advice for anything in the country. "The standard is good, everything is clean and working and the bed was comfortable.The food is good and the place is around 10 minutes in walking distance to the beach. The staff is both professional and very friendly - Thank you to Nixon, Fiorella,Michael, Randall and the others! If I was to stay at Cafe Playa Negra again, I would probably try to get a room that was not directly above the restaurant, as it can be a bit noisy in the evenings."

"Endroit magnifique mais malheureusement peut entretenu. Rideaux, divans, literies, beurk ! J’ai jamais vu autant de fourmis dans une propriété. Au moins une centaine sont sorties de la douche à l’étage de l’entrée. Il y en avait à l’étage supérieur également, dans le lit et partout sur le plancher. Gros gros gros ménage et entretien a faire. "We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food.
