Great location for beach access and every restaurant you can imagine. Farmers market nearby 2 days a week. Bring ear plugs for potential howler monkeys and the bar nearby that plays music until 2am. "The room was perfect, and even though it was right off a busy road was quiet. Nice pool with swim up bar. The included breakfast was excellent. Gym was well equipped. My only neg comment in the party on Friday that went from 8:00p to 2:30A was incredibly loud, the hotel should definitely make a point to ensure guests are aware of this. "

"Very nice place. Just in the middle of nowhere. Cabs to and from town have to deal with a steep, dirt, bumpy, rock-filled road (one night we almost couldn't find it). And because of its isolation, not even able to walk around outside the 10-room facility. But the room, pool, staff, and included breakfasts were exceptional."

"We had an amazing week long stay at Casa Dewey! The property itself was perfect; clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Tons of space for the 11 total people we had traveling. The pool was magnificent and the beach was just a short stroll down the path. Views for days!! Property manager very responsive and easy to communicate with. Playa Negra itself is a cute little town with several wonderful little restaurants. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Casa Dewey!!"
