The 1st day was no hot water & the last day the A/C was not working properly...no cold air was coming out. But the breakfast was good, it's in the middle of everything, very convenient...in walking distance to everything. Staff was very friendly & polite.

This was our first stay at Senses and we were DELIGHTED by everything - great location on La Quinta Avenida (for shopping and dining), great facility with balconies overlooking the street as well as a beautiful rooftop pool and deck with views of the ocean, great staff (friendly and helpful). They stored our luggage as we arrived early and didn't need to leave until late.

The staff here was great. Many reviews complained about the noise from the bar downstairs but we didn’t have any issue. There are certain things to expect when staying on fifth avenue and noise comes with that. The property was great and location was perfect.

A clean luxyru hotel with a nice pool area

A cool luxury hotel. The balcony was nice and had a good view. The pool area was very nice and clean. The shower and toilet were very good. The bed was very good and big! The hot tub in the room was a bit dirty, so we didnt use it. In the room wifi was very weak, sometimes not at all (could be due to windy weather) Location a bit weak for our needs.

Good location, but more to wish from the hotel

Really good location directly at the most busy tourist street, near restaurants, shops and beach! The hotel is clean, but needs some reparations such as the water pipes that are really messy, and the elevator that stopped working. The wifi was also not working for me from the room, and the safety box stopped working. The room was nice and clean, but there was noice from the streets every nights, so be prepared with ear plugs.

Right in the heart of 5th ave so everything was super convenient. Being right on 5th ave it was noisy but was to be expected. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were excellent. Would definitely stay here again. There were some concerns with the room upon check in but it was addressed right away and no problems after that.

Our stay at the hotel left us with mixed feelings. On one hand, the staff was undeniably helpful, always eager to assist. However, their approach to customer service felt a bit too relaxed. The persistent issue with room keys being blocked was particularly frustrating. I found myself having to make multiple trips to the front desk to resolve the problem, only for it to reoccur shortly after. This was not the seamless experience one would expect from a hotel aiming to provide exemplary service. Additionally, the staff didn’t seem very well-versed in the local area. When asked about transportation options or popular local activities, the responses were less informative than I had hoped, which is a common inquiry from tourists. A bit more training in this area could greatly enhance the guests' experience. While the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, there were some flaws in the details that affected the overall ambiance. The towels, and pillows provided looked worn and stained, detracting from an otherwise tidy environment. A hotel’s attention to the little things often makes a significant difference in how guests perceive their stay. The hotel has a solid foundation and plenty of potential, but there are several areas needing improvement. With more attention to service training and upkeep of amenities, it could elevate itself from a decent stay to a truly memorable one.

Good Hotel for short stay !!

This hotel was good in general . The location is great, the price was good and it felt very safe. The hotel needs a little bit of a refresh. The vibe was dead. My main concern was the water pressure (or lack thereof). The toiletries were really bad too. The elevator was broken for a day and Monday morning was very noisy with constructions around . Service was ok, straight to the point, front desk people and mostly the overnight guy were very kind. But it sounds very bad when you arrive to a hotel and the first things you heard is we are going to have extra charge if towels are stained and key ( electronic by the way ) are lost. It is not a very welcoming. Overall , it is a good hotel, just need some improvements.

This hotel is in a great location, everything you need or want is walkable. The staff were very helpful and friendly to their capabilities. I am notnsure who is managing this hotel but it does need to be taken csre of more as there is very easy things to do to make it just a bit better such as new towels as they dont have enough towels for everyone as we got told as they get thrown out because they habe lots of holes, stains in them and falling apart. Is it not is easy to get new towels? Same with the pool towels. When visiting the pool, the cushions for the loungers are disgusting and not enough loungers, or coushins missing for some seats. The breakfast needs to be better, more options, better variety since it is included and the woman that is cooking is sweet and amazing and has said she can cook a mutiple different types of dishes but having the same breakfast for almost every single days except for a 2 days...isn't good enough. The hotel needs to step up. For the hotel room, the mirrors need replacing, dont just put another mirror ontop of a nother mirror. They mirrors need replacing as they are falling apart. The toliet is separated in its own room, but a glass door is not helping anyone...it should not be glass ad no one needs to see in when someone is doingntheir business. The remote for the tv doesn't work. The blinds do not go up or down as they lost the remote for them...why even have an electric blind system if you cant use it, it would be nice to see outside.

I'll start with the positives: Great location close to everything, and adecuate professional staff. Air conditioner works. Fine if you're there to party and crash. We are Canadian/Mexican couple who live in Mexico, and we only stay at vip properties when we book to ensure a great stay, and this hotel was the first time we were let down by Expedia's VIP/star qualification. Honest review: The hotel was run down. It did not have a café, or any food and beverage service as advertised, and you couldn't bring in food or drink to the pool area, so we couldn't really stay and enjoy much. The mattresses were cheap, springy and hard. The pillows were low quality, uncomfortable and lumpy. The sheets had stains, and were not tucked in. There were no facecloths, or glasses in the room. We had no shampoo. The jacuzzi tap had 1 minute of hot water, so we were unable to use it There is a noisy bar directly downstairs. Very noisy until 12:30am.The AC was so strong, I requested a blanket, and I was told they didn't have any. I went and bought one because I was THAT cold. When we requested a room on a higher floor, they said they would address it, but never got back to us. I would not consider this a 4 star, much less a vip hotel & will not return.
