Very nice facility with a salt pool. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to the beech is a bonus. They provided transportation to the airport for a reasonable fee. It was the quietest place we slept at in Greece also. Perfect before our long journey home.

Beutiful Villa in Artemida (only 15 miles from airport) with pool and nice hospitable owner. George pic up us from Athens Airport and took us back to depart .He also arrange free pickup to fantastic restaurant ARHONTIKO with authentic Greek food at reasonable price.

all was perfect, we stayed one night prior to our flight and used the shuttle offered at an affordable price for coming and going to the airport. the place is clean, pool is great. thanks for the gift!

The owners of the property are wonderful. They made themselves available for any questions and helped us out with our transportation needs. I would highly recommend this property. Especially for the price offered. Close to the beach. No fees for chairs on the beach. Excellent.

Wonderful Overnight Hotel near Airport

Villa d'Irene was a wonderful option for an overnight stay near the Athens airport. George made the pick up and drop off at the airport very easy, the room was very comfortable and the pool was absolutely wonderful after a long day of travelling. I expect that I will stay here again on future trips to Greece.

Fantastic stay!

We had an amazing stay at Villa d’Irene! The hosts are personable and flexible, they solved some big time issues we had with our departure. We love the location near the beach. The room was nice and it was clean! There’s so much to do in the area, this would be a great place to return for a relaxing vacation!

The owners were very helpful and accommodating. They provided transfers to and from the airport and also to an excellent nearby restaurant . Chosen originally for its proximity to Athens airport, we were pleasantly surprised by the nearby, walkable sandy beach, the spaciousness of our apartment and a great pool.

About 20K from the airport, seaside villa. The apartment was huge! Theo, the owner picked us up from the airport and took us back the next morning for a total of 50 euros. Wish we had longer to enjoy the area. Ate dinner at a wonderful seaside restaurant that Theo booked a ride there and back for us.

Secret Gem

Villa d’Irene in Athens is a family owned property situated in a small town close to the airport as well as the beach. The owner Theo is delightful, he personally took us to and from the airport (for a fee). This is an older, traditional but well maintained property. There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. The unit was clean and cozy, with a full kitchen, living room and a bathroom with a shower or relaxing oversized tub. There is a wonderful restaurant on the beach nearby. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with Theo. He is a very warm and hospitable host. Great ongoing communication with Theo via WhatApp.

I missed the cancellation by a matter of hours due to a misunderstanding. This property stated I could cancel by certain date. There was an additional clause of time to cancel by. Regardless I asked for forgiveness immediately, leaving weeks for the property to rebook. They waited until morning of to call and say they disagree and wanted me to cancel if I wasn’t coming.

Villa d'Irene topped off my trip perfectly. I was met at the gate, welcomed in, and helped with my heavy suitcase. I felt like a guest in their lovely home. The recommendation for dinner was excellent, as was the airport transfer at 4:00 am the next morning. I am only disappointed I didn't have more time to spend in this lovely home.
