Forest cabin on 4 acres, Newly renovated, Quiet and secluded.
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely stunning setting, with mule deer visiting and calm, peaceful surroundings. Spacious living area, with a large kitchen and plenty of supplies for cooking at “ home”.Probably my only complaint was the top loading washer, as I have rather short arms so reaching the bottom was somewhat difficult ( I prefer front loading for this reason) Be prepared for a bit of a drive to local towns, but nothing more than 15 minutes or so…but did lose gps connection for a few minutes ( if you’re directionally challenged, download the directions in advance) The description says parking for 9 or 10 cars, but it probably would actually work for 4-5but not much more.."
"Carla is fabulous. My wife and I connected with her several times, including in advance of booking to see if the cabin was suitable for our Milky Way viewing adventure that required our setting up at at a clearing two miles from the cabin at 4 a.m. She filled us in on the lions and bear situation and details of access. We encountered a flash blizzard on the way to Florissant killing our hiking plans, so she gratuitously let us in early. The cabin was comfortable and my wife really enjoyed the contemporary pellet stove fireplace. Although it was 70 when we arrived in Denver, it was 0 at 4:30 AM when we filmed the Milky Way, so being able to fire up the stove in a few minutes after we returned at 5 AM was really blissful. We slept in the bigger bed, which was quite comfy. We made breakfast in the kitchen every morning. It felt like we were living the idyll. "
Twin Rock Cabin .Western Retreat. Family, Kids, Dog friendly.

"Very cute and clean small cabin, prefect for our spring trip. Everything was there we needed including the hiking and views. Super nice neighbors and owners very intuitive on our needs and stay. Would recommend! Thank you for having our family and fur babies!"
"The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and the views were to die for. Very peaceful and beautiful. Loved the chapel, the deck, the cozy rocking/reclining chairs. Appreciated the pantry having lots of random items as well as the fridge having condiments and random items. The checkin process was easy and communication with the owner was a breeze. We didn't realize the coffee pot was a traditional drip pot and had brought pod coffee. Thankfully there happened to be some ground coffee left in the pantry from a previous guest. We were thankful. There was not Ziplock bags, aluminum foil or dishes with lids for leftovers. That's not something that is on the owner, but helpful for guests to know. There was some plastic wrap so we were thankful for that. The bathroom didn't have soap or body wash. And only a small amount of shampoo. Again, no fault of the owner but helpful for prospective guests to plan ahead.I think this is a perfect home for couples or 2 friends. The kitchen table is a thin slab of wood and not large. Would make it challenging to do a puzzle or game that takes lots of table space. I highly recommend this property for the beautiful mountain views, trees lot, lovely cabin, lots of linens and blankets and the fact that they are dog friendly. There's a doggie door and a large, enclosed area for a dog. "
"Loved this gem! The house was stocked with everything we needed! Kevin & Sheri checked in on us and made us feel so welcome!
We would 100% recommend this beautiful property! The view was insane!"
