"We had a short stay-called before booking to make sure hot-tub and pool were in working condition as that is the main reason we booked here the staff let us know that it was. When we arrived and headed to the pool we asked staff were it was located she proceeds to tell us its closed ,we let her know that we booked there only after calling to make sure pool was operating and being told it was so she made a call and realized it was open. Then proceeded to show us the pool area… it was in an entirely different building…we stay at hotels often and weve never seen this before. mind you it was freezing out and there was no transportation to the building. The hotel itself was clean, a tad small ,staff was friendly but this was a big deal for us i wish we would have known to make a better decision with our stay. Nonetheless i would recommended this hotel to others. "

"Though the property is only a couple of years old, the handle fell off the shower door, an electrical outlet was missing a cover and bedding was torn and frayed at a corner. The rooms were clean, as was the casino. Room service food was surprisingly tasty. It took three tries to check into our two rooms, which were not ready at the advertised check in time. The minibar in one room wasn’t stocked with snacks. Couldn’t get the fridge door open if I’d wanted to enjoy a beverage. There’s some kind of high tech display that charges you for a snack item if you just pick it up off the display rack. Had to go back to the front desk to ask for info about where amenities were located, and still couldn’t find the pool. The exercise room looked clean and well maintained. Overall, it wasn’t an experience I’d choose to repeat. It wasn’t a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, except for the valets, who were great every time we needed anything. The manager on duty at check out mostly made excuses for the poor service and as much as said that if you book through apps like Expedia you don’t deserve the best service. A return visit to Cripple Creek will be at a different hotel/casino. "

"Everything was really lovely! The cabin is beautiful and has all the amenities and items you’d need. The hot tub was awesome, and the house is close to highway which makes it convenient to get around. We enjoyed hiking in the area and around the property. Would stay again "

"The cabin is beautifully situated! The Peak off the front porch and a lovely Aspen grove in back. The host was very responsive to queries and requests. We had a light snow and it was cleared before we got out the door our first morning (we went to Mueller). We live relatively close (CS) but wanted a quiet serene place for 6 very close friends to retreat. It was lovely. "
