"Always a lovely stay but was disappointed that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment the temporary restaurant was more like a canteen feel to it."

"Overall it was a pleasant stay. Location was excellent and parking for 48 hours is included. But.. do not stay in a heatwave like we did. I know it’s a rare occurrence, but in the summer, this must be a real issue. The windows do not open effectively (tiny gap) and although a fan is provided, it really did nothing. A winter hotel for me for sure."

"I’ve known this place to have quite a bad reputation and not great reviews but I thought it was lovely. The building itself it’s nice and classic old with high ceilings and wide corridors. My room was slightly dusty but altogether was very clean my room also had a bath which is always a bonus for me in hotel! Reasonably priced and I didn’t eat any food but the restaurants smelled really good"

"Nice hotel, staff were pleasant on check in. Room easy to find. I like the darker look of the room, it’s easier for me to sleep. However unfortunately we didn’t sleep very well as the room was just so hot. There was a desk fan thankfully, it’s just unfortunate that the weather was warm & so we were only pushing around hot air. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Decent sized room. Slight noise from other hotel room doors banging shut, but not much can be done about that. The location of the hotel as spot on, so good for a night out. We like concert square area so for us, location was key when booking. We’d definitely return, we got a good deal on the price & as I say, location was perfect. We got cheap over night parking just a few minutes walk away, the restaurant we wanted to dine at was no more than 10minutes walk away. There is a restaurant serving breakfasts at the hotel, we didn’t have this although it did look nice in there."

"One night stay for a concert. Hassan the Manage was extremely friendly and allocated us a family room with 2 double beds. He also registered my car on the parking website free of charge (although there is abundant free on-street parking outside the hotel). The hotel could do with a lick of paint here and there but was clean, tidy and perfectly functional."

"Me and the kids had a great stay. Amazing location close to family and lots of attractions and parks. Great having a kitchen and laundry and the bedrooms were huge. Good being able to park on the street outside and access on arrival was easy."
