"Dog friendly, and great location. However you may need to be aware that the access to main living space is up 14 wooden stairs. We had to teach our to go up and down, slowly. I would imagine some older people having difficulty with this too."

"Seamless Checkin process - communication was great with detailed instructions on how to access the property. On first arrival it was great to see there was secure off street parking suitable for two vehicles which is a rarity in this part of Hobart. The house is absolutely immaculate with beautiful linen and a washing machine with powder provided. Plenty of living spaces and 4 generous bedrooms and a smaller loft style single bedroom. "Overall I would stay again, but I think it would be better in the summer. Positives: Great location for exploring south Bruny Island, and handy to the local hotel for meals (we didn't use the cooking facilities). The washing machine was handy, and the shower and hot water was good. Not so positive: The property was a bit cold, even though we used the air conditioner before lighting the wood fire. Once the fire got going the heating was better, however the firebox was full of ashes from...

"Perfectly situated in battery point close to restaurants, pubs and bakeries. Walking distance to Salamanca, sandy point and city. Well equipped kitchen and delicious welcome fruit, cheese and chocolate platter. Loved our stay"

"The house was beautiful, great views. Only down side was it gets very hot on warm days with only a split system on the middle floor we had to buy a fan and its needs a big comfy lounge to lay back on with foot rests after long days out walking. Over all our stay was great and the kitchen had all we needed for 7 of us"

"Fantastic location. Easy walk to waterfront and city attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Room quiet despite being on a busy thoroughfare. Airport Skybus stops just out the front. Would have loved a coffee machine. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hobart."

"St. Ives is so quiet, beds are soooo comfy, staff great, it's clean, quiet and not overpriced and the shower is the best. There are plenty of mirrors in the apartment plus toaster, kettle, etc. Its on Point! Highly recommended 👌 "
