"Onsite parking and ramp to accommodation was idea for my elderly father that used a walker. The local shops were 1 min around the corner, with a well stocked IGA, a fabulous coffee shop attached to a very popular cafe/restaurant. Coffee was excellent and the staff were exceptionally nice. Only a very short walk down the hill to the esplanade around the bay, and then easy access to a beautiful sandy beach that provided a fabulous early morning or evening walk around the waterfront. "Mostly very good. However on last day there was an incident with an open fire left unattended on an adjacent vacant block. High winds were expected. Reported to the property managers who basically said if you feel threatened vacate!!! And call TAZ Fire. We ended up extinguishing it ourselves.
