"The hotel has secured entry. It is less than 5 minute walk from Amtrak station. Check in/out was fast and easy. Has small cafe and art gallery attached to hotel. (Great for picking up my morning Red Bull.) The room was clean, had a good view and felt comfortable. Only downside, no hotel parking garage, only street parking. Plus side: staff was the absolute greatest at helping us to find appropriate parking! Every employee we encountered as very friendly and helpful. "

"Beautifully appointed rooms and the food in the restaurant is excellent. This is a can't miss lovely hotel in downtown Portland. There is also a light rail stop very close which we used after returning a rental car to the airport. The light rail is very user friendly. We just had to tap a credit card and were able to board and ride to downtown for $2.80. This hotel is also a great location. It is very close to the rose garden, Japanese garden and the art museum which were all excellent. The art museum has a small European collection but had work by many masters including Monet and Van Gogh."
