"We loved staying at the Lamaro while we were in Barcelona. The location was excellent because the Gothic Quarter has lots to see, but it was also only a 15-30 minute walk to a lot of other sites, including the beach, many of Gaudi’s houses, and the Sagrada Família. I also ordered their birthday chocolate mousse cake for my spouse’s birthday, and it was insanely delicious. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Barcelona."

"Wonderful location. Beautiful hotel. Very safe. Was a bit sad we didn’t get the rooms that’s showed the exposed architecture. The room’s floor had no carpet and the floors for freezing cold on your feet. Walls are also very thin, and you can hear every chair move from room next door. Beds were not comfortable. Note that the buffet is NOT included. Otherwise, everything else was great."

"Arrived at 12pm after our flight from Glasgow before our cruise the next day. Room wasn't ready so staff were able to store our luggage which was good as let us go explore. There were three people serving but rather than serve the next customer in line, they were calling out customers checking out which was a bit frustrating. One of our rooms wasn't what we had reserved also, so to compensate us we were given breakfast. There were just a few niggles that added up to frustration. Room 1 was for two adults and a child but there was no sofa bed in there so had to head back down. Chambermaid had to come with a rollaway and set it up. We then had an issue with the tv not working, back down to reception we went. Technician was in for over an hour to fix the tv. He was very friendly and really tried his best to fix it. After a remote change, the room power being switched off and on, then a call to a tech team we were in business! Good things: rooms were very spacious with nice amenities. Quiet area that felt safe. Breakfast was good with plenty of options available and staff were super friendly in there.. This hotel could be fantastic if the little things could be eradicated."
