We loved this hotel was it’s central location in the Gothic Quarter. We felt like we could easily make it to any part of the city and we felt comfortable in that area no matter what part of the day it was. The coffee shop next door is also a treat for this location.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the tourist area, making it easy to explore everything. It can be a little noisy at night because of people on the street, so light sleepers may want to keep that in mind, but it wasn't a problem for us. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and our room was spotless and very well maintained. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

The hotel was in such an amazing location. The staff were so helpful and even had our room ready earlier for us. It was so clean and the room was huge. The ac was also great every time you walked in. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful hotel in a super central location. The interior rooms were spacious, super clean, with very effective air conditioning and wonderfully powerful showers. All you need for a comfortable stay in the city. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and stored our luggage as we arrived early and booked our taxi to airport on departure which was a real help. We highly recommend!

Great hotel in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, making it easy to walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shops. We loved this hotel. Staff was friendly and multi-lingual and the location of this hotel was dead-center in the Gothic Quarter and easy to access the metro (a literal 2 minute walk!). Beds were comfy and AC was powerful (felt amazing after spending the day outside in the hot summer heat). 5/5 stars

The location was perfect, the rooms were relatively clean but we booked and paid a premium for two twin beds to push together and were given one double bed (cdn double). They wanted us to check out and recheck in 5 hours later to move to a new room. There was a bad sewer smell in the hallway outside our room. Front desk staff and room attendants were pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay at Gran Hotel Barcino! We were traveling with two young kids and arrived very late at night, but the check-in staff made us feel very welcome and were incredibly friendly and speedy. It was such a relief after a long journey. Our room was clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh. The kids especially enjoyed the little museum about the city in the hotel lobby. The location was excellent—right in the heart of Barcelona, making it very convenient for exploring the city with our family. The staff were helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend Gran Hotel Barcino for families traveling with young children!

This is the perfect hotel in every sense of the word. Beautiful, centrical,( within walking distance to La Rambla, beach, restaurants, and the metro), great breakfast, helpful and informative staff, smells so good in the lobby. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Loved it and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Barcelona.

The hotel’s location was excellent. The staff were friendly, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. The room included bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes with toothpaste, and other amenities.
