The best area to stay in Palo Seco is along the beachfront of the main strip, particularly near the public beach access points.

This area is the heart of Palo Seco, where the majority of accommodations and local eateries are located. It's a linear stretch along the coast, with the beach always just a short walk across the road. You'll find a mix of guesthouses and small hotels, many offering direct beach views or easy private access.

Couples looking for a relaxed beach holiday will find this area perfect. The focus here is on the natural beauty of the coastline and the calming sound of the ocean. Many accommodations offer amenities like private balconies, beach chairs, and easy access to watersports such as paddleboarding or kayaking, allowing for a tranquil and romantic escape.

For families, staying close to the public beach provides great convenience. The shallow waters are generally suitable for children, and there's plenty of space for building sandcastles and playing.

The best time to go to Palo Seco is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to April.

During these months, you'll find consistently sunny weather with lower humidity and less chance of rain, making it ideal for enjoying the beach and outdoor activities. The temperatures are pleasantly warm, usually in the mid-20s Celsius, great for relaxing by the ocean or exploring the local area without the intensity of the summer heat.

This period is particularly appealing for couples looking for a relaxing escape. The calm, clear waters are excellent for swimming and paddleboarding, and the evenings are comfortable for dining al fresco.
