Do not stay here - checked in for two nights but didn’t even stay one night - renovation work going on all over the hotel, dirt and dust everywhere, tables and chairs being put together all day so lots of noise outside the room and had to go into town to find a quieter area to use wifi and work, other furniture stacked up in communal areas of the hotel. Genuinely did not feel a safe or comfortable environment to stay in. Agreed with reception staff that I would check out the same day and they agreed to process refund the next day. Got home two days later and refund had not been processed. Emailed the hotel three times over the course of a week and did not receive one response - all contact completely ignored. Asked Expedia to intervene and hotel told them they would not refund despite telling me when I checked out that they would process the refund. All of this is just basic good manners and customer service that you would expect any hotel to provide but to essentially lie that they would refund and then not do so, is inexcusable. All of this is without even commenting on the state of the rooms with old, tired and chipped furniture, small dirty bathrooms and communal areas - the whole place needs renovating - but they should not be accepting guests whilst doing so. If you want to pay good money for a poor hotel and even poorer customer service, BC Spa is the place for you. Took multiple phone calls and a lot of persistence to get Expedia to eventually make the refund.

Very disappointing. Our room looked pretty nice, however it was obvious that it wasn't cleaned in a long time. Paid extra for a hot tub in the room. When we tried to use it lots of worms came up with the water. Needless to say, due to such unsanitary conditions we didn't use it and it felt just as a rip off. As this wasn't bad enough, the breakfast next day was horrible, cheese with mold being served to guests. Wouldn't recommend it.

In the event of a complaint or shortcomings, it is always advisable to contact the hotel management directly.The incident you describe is not known to us.Since all whirlpools are cleaned with chlorine at check out, the scenario you describe should not be possible.Our cheese comes daily fresh from an organic farmer, without preservatives, no product is spared from drying out at the prevailing temperatures, our kitchen would offer you cheese analog on request.

We came to this hotel after our flight was cancelled so was a last minute reservation for us Really enjoyed our short stay the rooms were lovely beds comfortable and very clean , the staff were very helpful and pleasant ,breakfast was very nice too ,I would highly recommend this hotel and we would use again when we come to Dalayan for a holiday

Chilled hotel and spa in a great location
Nice pools and spa; lovely short walk along the river (literally only a couple of minutes) to town and restaurants. Great service from the staff and good food, would stay again.

So the pools were nice, but nothing special. The overall appearance of the hotel was run down and unclean. The rooms were dated, small and, the bathroom was horrible. Toilet ran all night and shower flooded the room. The promised wifi but good luck getting a signal. I would not stay here again!

Fantastic position on the river and walking distance to all restaurants and bars. Spa facilities were very good. Lovely pool area with sun on it all day so pool was perfect temperature. Staff very friendly and helpful. Found rooms to be a bit on the dark side, not very good lighting. Had excellent stay.

This property has a wheelchair accessible room but a very steep ramp into hotel and then a step Into the hotel one person on reception who said he would get a ramp this did not happen only for a man at the back of the hotel who carried my husband up and down you need to stop advertising this hotel as wheelchair. Accessible

Lovely Hotel with a perfect location
We really enjoyed our 1 week stay at BC Spa hotel. It was quiet so there was always room in the restaurant at Breakfast & plenty of loungers by the 2 pools. We didn't take advantage of the Spa facilities, hotel guests can use the pools, sauna & steam rooms for 10L a day, instead of the normal 20L, plus pay for extra treatments. The location, right on the river front was great! Theres no noise or light pollution to spoil your evenings as its a 5 minute walk along the river front to the start of all the boats, shops and restaurants. On our last evening we took a evening dinner boat cruise. It was a really great way to spend our last evening and we would definitely recommend it! Don't forget to take your swimming costume & towel for a dip in the lake as the sun sets. We chose Bed & breakfast which was perfect. The breakfast was typical Turkish with plenty of breads, olives, tomato & cheeses. There was also boiled eggs & a hot dish like spiced potatoes, or cheese pastries or mini sausages. It did get a little repetitive over the week, but still delicious. We ate lunch by the pool a couple of days which was very reasonably & yummy. We ate in town each night, at a different restaurant which were all really reasonably priced & great for people watching or looking out over the river & the ruins. The evening restaurant at the hotel with tables over looking the river also looked lovely but was quiet this time of year. We'd definitely stay again!

So Upset and disappointed
I had the worst hotel experience of my life, the manager of this hotel is an absolute disgrace. I didn't stay for the duration I was meant to as he was extremely rude and life threatening to my family that also stayed there. And was made to feel like I couldn't stay there. I think from what I experienced I should get a full refund. As we couldn't stay there so I definitely wasted my money. The food was a disgrace and the pools and the spa was not as described. The main staff seem to be quite friendly but did not know what they were doing. And the rooms were extremely tiny and very bad turn down service. All and all my partner felt frettend for his life so that put us both off of staying there. I will be taking this further as I don't want other customers to go through, What me and my family went through. The hotel is pretty and could be amazing if it was run by a manager and staff who knows what they are doing. Such a big shame and a let down for us, and have heard that lots of other people have experienced similar things to what we experienced, and mentioned that they walked out of the hotel and didn't come back. I will say I absolutely loved turkey, and the people everywhere else were lovely. But until they have a new manager and properly trained staff, then please stay away from the BC Spa as I don't want people to experience what we went through. Thanks

Mentioned your complaints Pool, foods,your room, Manager( F/B , front office , Genaral Manager ? , etc. We have 69 rooms at BC SPA especialy 7 kinds of room types, It mıght be your room low room type and cm2 If you were unhappyabout your room type to smal or viewing, you could try to upgrade room with extra charges for alternative room type, *We have a lacarte restaurant and giving service for lunch and dinner service also to the external guest , ıf your board was as reservation hb ofcourse set menu instead of buffet, while you are comparing we advise you be equal , If you check your bb rate and hb rate you can see the difference as not much so the per person aprox 1 gbp daily difference, If you could give us your full name we could check and remembered you than we can try to help you. I stayed at this hotel week 19th September for a week. - The hotel staff were really pleasant. - 5 minute walk to the town - We had the turkish bath- excellent experience- could have included music during the massage section. The gym/ spa facilities pretty decent however they should be opened longer,as coming back from excursions it would be nice to relax in the pool/ steam. I arrived at an hour before they closed, found they had stopped the steam room. - towels were a bit worn - the aircon was funny to work out sometimes too cold, and too hot never just right. The duvet did not cover the whole bed only half so our legs were exposed, had sheet to cover legs. -Left one side of body exposed as too hot was bitten 5 times- bring room repellent - No kettle/ iron- If you're british you can't have a cup of tea. - I don't rate this hotel as 4* compared to european standards this would be 2.5/3* - aesthetically pleasing the look & style with rock mountains at the background. - breakfast was poor- not a lot of european/ british options. Watch out for those pesky wasps- you can't eat outside by the river you will get attacked. - The only thing I enjoyed was bread, cheese & ham, & fruit. I didn't like the turkish breakfast. They also do not serve british tea!! Bring your own! - nice views by the river if you would like to eat breakfast/ dinner or just chill - nice seating area in the grassy bit with large bean bags and hammock. - free wifi

Good Hotel Near Town But Quiet On The River
This hotel lies close to Dalyan town but in a quieter (but not quiet) position on the river from where you get taxi boats to the beach. The room was tidy and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. One attraction is the underground Gym/Spa which is free to guests and where you can keep fit and avoid the heat. The indoor pool gives you a quiet break from the family pool if it becomes crowded. We didn't eat much at the hotel as we have friends living in Dalyan and like to go exploring other restaurants but we did have one meal and it was very nice. Note: if you are on the river side of the hotel you may experience noise from passing boats and the odd motorcycle on the promenade. We enjoyed our stay and may well return.

Amazing location with great views.
Overall, our stay at BC Spa Hotel was very good. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels given. The location is perfect, on the river with great views and just a 5 min walk into town. The only thing I picked up on was down in the spa. There seems a lot of staff members who linger down there which can be a bit off putting. Also the jacuzzi was freezing cold so didn't get to use it. I got a 30 min back massage which was nice but seemed like it was being made up as they went along. The other thing is the breakfast which we read about in previous reviews. We only ate there once as the selection isn't great and a lot of flies and wasps seem to linger around the food. Other then that everything else was great. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food at lunch and dinner was very tasty and we ate here most lunch times. Overall, I would come back and recommend to others.

The hotel was beautiful but there were a few little things that let it down. We found service from the pool bar really bad, only twice a day were glasses collected and not once did bar staff come to see if we would like a drink. On the regular batman'a day off the relief batman was awful, he didn't even know what a Bloody Mary was. Me and my wife enjoy a drink and a game of cards in the evening, but lighting on the balcony area was so dark it made it impossible to do. There was not kettle in the room. But the hotel was spotless and a great location

Well-presented Spa hotel in an ideal location
Our room was fantastic - large comfortable bed in a beautiful chalet with wooden ceiling. We even had a jacuzzi bath in the corner of our room. The shower room was stylish but smelt a bit of standing water. The hotel itself had several very nice pools with a relaxing and stylish bar/sun lounger area. We were half board, and the buffet dinner was very tasty with lots of mezze options. We ate in the atmospheric riverside dining area, before relaxing with a beer in the hammocks by the river. We also enjoyed a swedish massage and made use of the sauna/steam room and other spa facilities. Very good massage technique. Overall: Stylish, but lacking the finer details in terms of service and room cleanliness.

Fantastic hotel in the centre of beautiful Dalyan
Great hotel, excellent facilities, two pools and a bar and restaurant, as well as Spa. We had a fantastic stay, the staff went out of their way to be friendly, helpful and just help in any way they could- lovely people. The only small gripe i would mention is that the weather whilst we were there was an average of 39, which meant that the AC was always on in our room, the only small issue was that sometimes in the middle of the night it would get a bit chilly as the cold air would stream onto the bed directly and the room didn't come with a duvet or any form of substantial cover apart from a towel-esk blanket, which wasn't warm enough for me. Furthermore, because I was constantly being bitten by Mosquitoes I was advised not to turn the AC off, so that left be uncomfortable at night. Apart from that- a wonderful hotel & would definitely recommend the establishment to others.

Dalyan Hotel
The room was fine though the bedroom was accessed by a narrow winding staircase. The breakfast was meagre and, if you arrived in the last hour , many items were depleted. The lighting in the bathroom was very, very dim. The hotel is not far from the Dalaman Airport.

A riverside hotel that needs some improvements!
The hotel is in a central position overlooking the river, it is in a quiet spot; yet central! The spa facilities are excellent and the spa staff very helpful and professional. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well, the room was always spotlessly cleaned and the white fluffy towels a plus. The downside - (1) The rooms were poorly lit and you couldn't read a book after dark in any part of the room, the bathroom was also poorly lit (I was fortunate that I could read from my i-pad)! (2) The breakfast was very basic and the hygiene with cats, flies etc. was not the best (most food being out for the whole of the breakfast period uncovered and in a large quantity). (3) The organisation was poor, I had arranged a return transfer and the driver didn't turn up, so they called a taxi! (4) The hotel lacked atmosphere (okay it was towards the end of the tourist season and the place was under occupied)!

Good location - nice walk to main tourist areas.
We went with friends who have not been to Turkey before. All of us was impressed with the hotel - which was by the river and had great views of the mountains. The friendliness of staff and the spa facilities at the hotel was excellent. The day trips on the river was great value also the restaurants which there was plenty to choose from. We had such a relaxing holiday, we will be going back.

Super relaxing stay in Dalyan
BC Spa Hotel is a beautiful little resort along the river in Dalyan just a short walk to the center of town. The hotel itself is very nice and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Each room has a little patio or balcony that is a perfect place to enjoy the fresh air and nice weather. They were kind enough to let us check in very early, leave a little late, and were super helpful with all of our questions. The staff could not have been better. There is a big Turkish breakfast every morning which was a good way to start the day. The spa itself was a good amenity as well, with a great sauna.

Beautiful Oasis
I was only here for one night but the hotel is stunning when you walk in. There is a beautiful pool and it is a vast area of property that is so relaxing and peaceful. The rooms are a little bit small but clean. The shower water is warm at best but this happened in a few hotels in Turkey. I wish I had time to try the spa it looked like it would be wonderful. They have free use of the baths and hamams on sunday with payment for massage only which is a fairly good deal. The breakfast was a big buffet but not the best food. Close by to everything though and comfortable and relaxing with a beautiful pool, I would stay here again.

Stayed with my partner for a week. Excellent location close to te town, and on the river. Well laid out pool area and good sized pool. Mostly couples or families with older teenage children staying when we were there (last week in July), which was good as it was mostly peaceful sunbathing round the pool. No facilities for young children so guessing that the are not aiming a te family market. Rooms were adequate, air con unit was modern and excellent. Had problem with drainage smell on day one but the hotel staff did something and it was okay after that. Excellent spa located in the basement, with a good sized indoor pool! Turkish npnassage and other treatments were good value, in very modern surroundings. Pool bar cocktails were poor - the batman needs to take cocktail making lessons. Breakfasts were disappointing; not much choice so we didn't bother going for them after a few days, as a on sequence we didn't try te restaurant; there are many other restaurants along the river, the first only 50 gds away - Prince of Kaunos, which turned Putto e the best in our view, so we ate there four times in all. I would recommend the BC Spa for adults, it's good value.

Soullless, resort hotel but with a nice spa
The hotel is unfinished and although there was some work going on while we were there, it didn't really bother us. The staff on the desk could have done more to be friendlier and a bit more pro-active in offering advice, trips etc.The hotel is a bit soulless which hopefully will improve as time goes by and it becomes confident in it aims.. The music by the pool was pretty annoying and drowned out the lovely sound of the cicadas. It was a bit strange to have music at all as everyone by the pool is trying to read. The spa was a pleasant surprise that even the children were allowed to use.

Excellent hotel, shame about the other guests.
Pleasant stay in hotel. Comfortable room & free use of spa was great. Staff were friendly & helpful. Would not recommend to families as some female guests felt the need to sunbathe topless by the pool. Heavy smoking by european tourists was also a constant irritation.

Very good value for money
The hotel is new and not quite completed yet so still in parts under construction so a little noisy. The value for money was however excellent and quite comfortable. It is in a great location next to the river. The staff were helpful. Its weaknesses are a very basic breakfast for a 4 star hotel. The TVs are small and the bathroom was a little crammed.

Fantastic location.
Found the location of the hotel so good. Handy for all the boat trips and the towns restaurants. nice safe walk along the riverside either way. We had the split level room which was nice, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. sitting area and tv down stairs. situated on the riverside with the mountains behind whats not to like. A couple of little niggles as I said the room we had was on two levels, the key fob placed in the iinner wall worked the electrics for both floors, the only problem with this is the safe key (safe in bedroom) was fixed to the same fob so if you want to go in the safe at night it is very difficult because after removing from the wall the lights go out! The lighting in both rooms is stylish but very soft and I found it impossible to read in either room. When returning to the room at night again lighting is a problem you cannot see the keyhole. I had a small torch with me and would suggest others may want to do the same. Comfy rooms, good service, breakfast a little lacking but you get by. all in all a good place to stay , would recommend it and would stay there again.

Close but quiet location
I stayed at BC Spa Hotel for two nights in May 2013. Note the location on the Hotels.com website (and Google) is incorrect; it should be Gulpinar Cd, in the northern part of town. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and located a quick walk down the docks from the center of town. This location gives it a relaxing tranquility from the hustle of all the restaurants and shops. The view of the river and mountains is amazing from the main pool, restaurant, and bar. Staff were extremely friendly, informative, and accommodating. Breakfast was simple and but good. Parts of the hotel (and surrounding neighborhood) are currently under construction, so it was a bit noisy early in the morning. Also, there was an electrical issue with our room but hotel staff were quick to troubleshoot and fix the problem. Overall, BC Spa Hotel is an excellent value and we will be staying there again during future trips to Dalyan.

Fantastic Location, Ideal for SPA breaks.
Hotel under construction & outdoor pool was not working and these were not mentioned anywhere while booking. Food and Drinks are expensive, Staff are very helpful. We got upgraded from Classic to Deluxe free of cost as we were on our Honeymoon. Very close to boats and bus terminal. Would definitely recommend a massage from Sonar if you are staying there.

I would recommend this hotel.
We only stayed one night but we were pleased with our room which was upgraded for us on arrival. Staff was pleasant and the location on the River walk was very nice. The only glitch was we were told breakfast was 7am but we found it was 8 am so we couldn't get anything before our airport transfer. The airport transfer was a bit pricey for the distance and the driver slept in and then dropped us at the wrong terminal so be sure to check on this if booking.

Ideal for couples.
The hotel was ideally situated on the river and five minutes walk from the town where you could take a boat to the beach or the lake. Despite being a tourist area the town retains it's soul. There is obviously a big expansion of the hotel underway and the building noise was intrusive if you wanted a siesta or a lay-in in the morning. Facilities were excellent apart from there being no chairs in the room, only on the balcony. The staff were polite and helpful.
