"Great location, good size for the group we had. Just needs a good dusting downstairs and we did not have the amount of towels based in the people I booked for. I also bought a travel wireless router because it said it had no wi-fi. Your website needs to be update to reflect that you do. I would also state that coffee machine is for ground coffee. Other than these things we had a great stay."

"We were staying over two nights to attend a family in Piha, and travelling with my 81 year old Mum, who has mobility issues. This was the perfect home for her and the extended family was able to pop in before the ceremony to say hello. Plenty of lovely deck space to spread out on without getting under each other's feet."

"Great communication with the hosts. This little cottage is an absolute delight for a romantic weekend! It was quiet & private with more than enough provided to ensure a comfy cosy stay. Breakfast included a range of tea & coffee choices along with orange juice, muesli, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt & croissants. Located close to a number of wedding venues & dining options, plus the spectacular Waitakere Ranges with its black sand beaches. We took the relaxing 20 minute drive out to Muriwai Beach...

"Relaxing stay just out of town. Lovely birdlife and gatdens. The accomodation was of high standard and very clean and comfortable. Close to Matakana and the coast. Our host Kim was friendly and informative and available if help was needed. Overall a great experience"

"Having the lock box at ground level was a pain given the hall lights were not working. Be good if it was at eye level. The property was neat and tidy. Had all we required. Would've liked internet though! Nice being upstairs for breakfast on the balcony. Great having a 4 Square right below us."

"On day of check in we received an email asking what time we would arrive and received no reply as to the address to find the exact location for the accommodation. By deduction and luck we drove around and around until by chance we found it. Host was very good in supplying iron and ironing board on request. Had to buy laundry detergent and no dryer."

We don’t mind things which are a bit shabby (carpet, paintwork, furniture, curtains) but we really like things to be clean! Don’t even expect hospital standards but not ….dead bugs, spiders, dust, cobwebs…. Hair and mould in showers, basins, bathroom mirrors splashed with someone else’s toothpaste….YUK. Kitchen equipment greasy and grimy. Also the downstairs bedroom was very damp and unaired and we had to move...

"This is a great spot for a group holiday stay. It is close to multiple beaches (but I would recommend driving rather than walking to them). The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Jason is a very responsive and kind host."

For a longer stay clothes storage might be an issue as most of the wardrobe (could do with more hangers), bedside tables and chest of drawers were taken up with the owner's personal belongings.
