The views were splendid, the gardens were lovely as were all the interesting paths weaving around the grounds. The meal was outstanding, absolutely sensational, and it was lovely to share a meal with other guests - a welcome change from dining on seperate tables. Unfortunately the lady who showed us to our rooms on the afternoon of Wed 13th Sep was rather rude, which was a little disappointing. Other than that, the staff were very friendly and obliging. The gentleman who welcomed us into the...

Everything you need for a short or long stay. We stayed upstairs on Carisbrook road, and could park at our door. Well equipped unit with everything you might need. Best showers in NZ. Excellent location. Really enjoyed our time there.

Facilities: Top of the line; Value: Fantastic; Service: Remarkable; Cleanliness: Spotless; check out the Castle and find out the storey behind the Castle and Larnick

Lovely motel with friendly staff, close to the town centre, gardens, and NZ’s first University.

One of best value for money motels. Beds comfortable, room is warm & facilities modern and really clean. Great cafe next door for breakfast. We will be back definitely.

Only thing is the air conditioning wasn't ice cold how you usually want it in hotels, but I guess it's Dunedin so not a priority in the cold weather - 10/10 would stay again

A nice triple room with parking, and was very quiet even though centrally located. Great value - highly recommend.

Lovely room, only issue is couldn't get the plug up in bathroom sink but a very nice bathroom just the same, friendly and helpful staff. Light bright rooms. Couldn't find the sky movie channel seemed to be overrides with sports channels for some reason but no complaints. Near shops and servos..look forward to returning again.

Good clean room

Quiet, well maintained , friendly & helpful staff, would stay again.

Incredible place to stay and the hosts are friendly and happy to provide local suggestions.

This was a surprise great find, on the one way system heading south as you enter the city. in the middle of "student-ville" I was initially worried about the potential noise but ended up having the BEST sleep while traveling that week! Both upstairs and down stairs units and having a downstairs unit and being able to park at the door made it very easy to repack the car for the following day ( I'm a sales rep. ) Ten minute walk to the gardens area where you are spoiled for eating options along...

Excellent place to stay

The rooms were very spacious and beautiful, tastefully and decorated in keeping with the building. Very comfortable beds, epic shower and bathroom. Double glazing and location and heavy velvet curtains cut road noise down to a muffled swish and sleeping was not an issue. We will certainly stay again.

Was a lovely peaceful place to stay. Clean and tidy

Easy checkin and we were enthralled with the great location and stunning 180 views of the beach. Apartment was very tastefully decorated, the bed was super comfy and it was warm and cosy. Loved the spa bath and we didn’t want to leave! Will definitely come back thank you :)

I have stayed here a few times, great location and nice spacious rooms, very warm. Always lovely people to greet you.

Older units but spotlessly clean and lovely owners
