Longbourne lodge was in such a peaceful setting. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our accommodation where everything was fantastic. The kitchen is well equiped and the lodge had everything we needed. Great stay, well run and I would absolutely stay here again!

This is a unique rural property, in a nice setting. It had lots of space, clean and the roses were off the hook. We had a nice meal in town, at a place the proprietor recommended.

A wonderful rural property that is only a short drive to the shops in Mosgiel. So appreciative that they allow dogs and they went out of their way to make sure we were all set up for a comfortable stay.

Great stay on the edge of Mosgiel

Great place - a hidden gem and so good to be able to have fur babies stay with you too. Wonderful units with everything you need and more. Close to town although far enough away that you feel like you’re in the country.

A little out of town but that suited me perfectly for the reason I was there. The setting and gardens are beautiful and the rooms are lovely. Quiet, clean and well equipped. If traveling with a dog there is a specified, fenced, off lead area which is just fantastic. This was my third stay and I will definitely stay again.

Last minute stay and had we more time I would have liked to extend our visit. The owners are meticulous about their cabins and property. Have thought about every little detail to make your stay as safe and comfortable as possible. Stunning views of the mountains and countryside. The lawns and gardens are beautiful and we loved watching the little rabbits bobbing around. It is definitely a labour of love and the owners should be commended. Pat and Hugh C.

A lovely setting, great views and warm and cosy. The lighting outside the door was not very good though. It was a bit tricky locking and unlocking in the dark. Cute little lights down the path though. Overall a great place to stay and I would recommend to friends and family.
