"Apparently this hotel had just been renovated. It’s good in theory, however all their bathroom fixtures although aesthetically pleasing, are sharp & hazardous in the small bathrooms. Also the doors are glass and there’s no real privacy between the bed and bathroom areas. What I found so disturbing was that there was never anyone at the front Desk to help you. "We highly recommend this hotel for a city stay in Zurich. The rooms are luxurious, clean and very comfortable. The staff are so friendly and the service is excellent and attentive. Great location within walking distance to Old Town and HB. FYI : Sundays are “dead” at least until noon. We recommend Hotel Glockenhof! "

"We had a one night stay at the Swiss Chocolate at it was lovely. Such a fun quirky hotel, with an ample supply of chocolate in the fountain. My room was a single room with a lofted layout, which i needed to be careful at night during any descents to the bathroom. The room was very clean and had the amenities i needed to be comfortable. "
