"The room was very clean with updated amenities. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was welcoming and friendly and we appreciated that we were able to check in a bit early. We enjoyed the sitting area off the lobby with the gas fireplace. The only place for improvement was the breakfast. The restaurant was very understaffed for a Sunday morning and the food was rather underwhelming after a long-ish wait. However, huge shout out to the young man working the restaurant during our breakfast service - he was composed, friendly and worked hard to bus tables, take orders, serve as host, and make sure guests had what they needed. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at The Pell, but would skip the breakfast next time. "

"It’s great to spend time in the beach house and beach cottage. Getting to fall asleep to waves crashing and wake to the sun rising over the ocean is a special experience. And the service by staff is just exceptional. The food is wonderful as well. We love coming here and coming back. "
