This is a historic property with beautiful views, staff wants to make your visit special. Five minutes from Thames Street so enjoy the crowds and return to the tranquility of Newport Beach Hotel & Suites.

This is my second time staying in the historic side of the hotel, and I’ll continue to use them for my future Newport trips. It’s conveniently located to the attractions I choose to visit on my stays, quiet, with pretty views of Easton Beach. Nice easy parking, and walking distance to two of my favorite eating spots in town (Flo’s Clam Shack and Clemmie’s Ice cream). Can’t rave about this hotel enough.

Friendly staff, beautiful view from our room. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The bathroom needed some refreshing and a thorough cleaning. I found a long hair In the shower, yuck! Overall-it was a short decent stay.

Ivy at the front desk was lovely and very helpful, including letting me know there is a $10 discount for the breakers entry if tickets were bought at the hotel. The room was clean and quite large. The breakfast Saturday morning was mostly breaded products. I am celiac, but I don’t anticipate accommodation for that so not an issue. I would highly recommend staying here. There may be some stairs involved in making your way to your room so maybe pack a little lighter.

The room was in the original building on the second floor. We had a view of the Atlantic Ocean. The staff was very kind to us. We had a hot breakfast each morning. It was very close to everything we visited during our stay.

My family of 4 stayed and had a lovely time. The staff was very nice, the hotel was clean and the cleaning staff were super kind and helpful during our stay. I would go back. It is a charming hotel very close to restaurants and all the attractions. I also appreciated that breakfast was included in the fees.

Brilliant hotel, perfect location. Opposite the fab Eastons beach, restaurants within walking distance. Near the cliff walk. Half hour walk to Newport downtown or a 5 min drive. Room was lovely, breakfast was great and the pool was perfect. Cant fault our stay there

Place nice and staff very nice. Room ready early. Right across from the beach. Continental breakfast was okay, egg n cheese “omelette”, not good and a second waffle maker would be a good idea . Should consider putting darkening curtains in the room. Room was very bright first thing in the am and traffic outside was loud.

I rarely write reviews but we had just the best time at this hotel. The staff really blew it out of the water. They helped us get discount tickets to the mansions, plan our days, helped us use bikes (for free), and were just generally delightful.
