"This is a no frills hotel. You check in via machine. We asked for an extra pillow but they don’t have any. Cleaning service is only 10-1:30. Nonetheless, the location is excellent, the room is very nice and relatively speaking it’s inexpensive for where and what you get. Would definitely stay again and recommend as long as you aren’t looking for a lot of extras. "

"One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The Mitsui Garden Sanjo Premier in Kyoto was spotless—everything was extremely clean and smelled amazing from the moment we walked in. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly attentive, polite, and respectful—top-notch service throughout. The hotel is located right in the heart of Kyoto, making it easy to walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Kyoto.
