Location and Comfort in NOLA!

This house is amazing and the host is full of great local recommendations. This location is amazing - walkable to Magazine street in both directions, the trolly to the French Quarter is blocks away and its quiet, clean, and so comfy. Loved everything about the home.

Great Stay

Spectacular property and location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Secure off street parking was certainly a plus, and we mostly walked anyway. Very comfortable accommodations for 3 adults and 1 child. Laundry and well stocked kitchen were important when traveling with a five year old. Communication with property owner was smooth and he was super responsive. We will stay again on our next NOLA visit.

Wonderful house, location and host

We had an amazing time. The host was in constant contact with us, from helping us with random traffic issues to being available to ship things in advance. If you want to stay in the garden district with access to Magazine, St. Charles, Audubon park and zoo... nothing could be better. Book and enjoy!!!

Perfect spot in garden district

Most amazing quaint cottage off the bustling magazine street. Felt like you were part of the neighborhood. House was beautiful and clean. Lovely beds and quality linens. Ian was a very gracious host. Will be back next time!

Great Experience in NOLA

NOLA Stay - Garden District

The property is very close to Magazine Street which provides easy access to the Garden District and the bus line if the group wants to visit Canal Street. The furnishings are high-end, and the off-street parking is truly an asset. The host was very communicative and attentive throughout the process. My family and I would not hesitate to book this property again. Great for families of all ages!

Beautiful house in a great location

I loved the house, you can tell the owner put a lot into it. Location was great, there are plenty of places to walk to and a great organic juice bar a block away.

Fantastic!!

The home was centrally located just off Magazine St and immaculate! It also was so quiet at night, perfect for relaxing and sleeping well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We parked our car in the secure driveway and walked everywhere all week!! Look forward to returning and staying in the same house.

Irish Channel gem

This is a beautiful house in a great neighborhood. We easily walked to excellent restaurants, shopped and had cocktails. There was a drug store and grocery just a couple of blocks away—easy walk. Gated parking on site. We had everything we needed for a lovely weekend.

Gorgeous home!

Fabulous time staying here. Renovations and decorating seriously top notch. Easy Uber ride to the Quarter and nice to be away from that area in the evening. Also a handful of blocks from several nice restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend for a visit to the Big Easy.

Fabulous stay!

Look no further as Ian’s VRBO is amazing! Perfect location for exploring NOLA with lots of restaurants, cafes, funky stores, pubs and a grocery store in walking distance. Awesome to stay in a quieter area after the business of the French Quarter. The house is as beautiful as the photos, has extremely comfortable beds and all the amenities you need to feel right at home. Very safe area! We will definitely book again on our next trip to NOLA! Loved Ian's house! Great attention to detail. He was very on top of communication and making sure we had everything we needed. Ton's of space and light. Perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants on Magazine and catch the street car on St. Charles.

Great Property

We really enjoyed our stay here over Spring Break. We were travelling with two kids under 10 and the house was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, well-furnished, and safe. We drove, so gated parking was great and also allowed us to drive to city park, swamp tour, etc. At same time neighborhood had lots within walking distance and short uber to Quarter/CBD. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Perfect location

This house is an oasis of calm in a vibrant neighborhood! Very thoughtful details like coffee, shampoo and conditioner, soft bedding and mattresses. The location is great because magazine street is 2 blocks away and has everything. Check out the local bar, Parasols. Ian was responsive and helpful. Great host.

Upscale Home Away from Home

This home was incredibly comfortable, and we loved being walking distance to the coffee shops and boutiques on Magazine Street. The elevated design and spaciousness of the home made for an experience way better than a hotel. The best part, though, was the communication with the owner. He made sure we had all the information we needed, checked in to make sure we were all right after we arrived, and even made some calls in the city for us. Highly recommend!

Amazing home in outstanding location!

Pleasantville was absolutely amazing! The owner had champagne ready for us when we arrived. The house itself was beautiful and impeccably decorated. There was fast wifi and TV's in every room as well as a great front porch and secure parking. The house is located one block from Magazine St. which made it extremely easy to walk to numerous restaurants and bars. Surprisingly, the location was very quiet for being so close to Magazine St. I cannot say enough about how great this house and owner were and we cannot wait to book our next stay at Pleasantville.
