Top National Museum of Denmark Hotel Reviews
Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade
10/10 Excellent
"Review of a solo woman traveler:
The best things about this hotel:
The location is great, it’s a quick walk to a lot of the main attracting areas such as Nyhavn.
The hotel is very clean, no complaints there at all.
The restaurant looked very nice, I did not eat there myself, but it was packed for breakfast every morning, and it looked and smelled good.
Check-in was fast and easy and self-service.
Because of the self check in, I didn’t really interact with any staff so I can’t comment on that.
All of the elevators were very fast!
Things I did not love:
There is no room phone where you can call to the front desk.
There was a little walkway area to the side of the hotel, where teenagers would congregate every evening and play really loud music and smoke various things. One night there was also a man there who appeared to be intoxicated and was by himself, but ranting loudly. This bothered me because it made me feel less safe, and the walkway was directly to a little market just behind the hotel which I liked to frequent. But I was nervous, walking back to the hotel."
"had a 5 day stay at the Plaza and it was so clean and convenient. The breakfast was amazing. Also, the Plaza is right next to the central train station and all transportation. You could not ask for a better location. The staff was very helpful and cordial as well. Would definitely stay here again."
"Staff helpful. Breakfast large and varied. The property is large, but doesn't feel like a big hotel. Close to train station and metro. Easy walk to many sights."
"Staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a great location to walk the city and very close to restaurants, a supermarket and transport options, perfect for a sray with 2 teenagers"
