"This hotel was a sanctuary of calm with forest views from every window, excellent food, very friendly staff, and a minimalist aesthetic. Bathrooms were shared as it provided a traditional Japanese experience but as someone who would generally avoid a shared bathroom this was more part of the experience than a drawback. Rooms extremely clean, calming, and comfortable with own sink and toilet. "

"This is a beautiful renovation of a historic building . Feels like a more modern take on a mix of traditional inn / condo . It was the perfect space for our family of 4. We stayed in the Sakura suite and all used the outdoor tub. Location is a little bit away from the main sightseeing area in Kanazawa , but easy access by bus or taxi . We liked the quiet area around the inn . We will definitely stay here again ."
