"Absolutely adorable little cottage in a very convenient area to lots of hiking and other adventures. Highland NC just a short drive away. On site trails and little river. Description of property was spot on. We hiked, enjoyed watching the birds, grilled dinners and most importantly relaxed on porch listening to nature and the river. Quiet and peaceful. Hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and even had a delicious homemade sweet bread on arrival. Would highly recommend! Thank you Carman!!"

"We had the absolute best time here! The house was cozy, beautiful and just the perfect place for a getaway in the mountains. We came here to stay for a reunion weekend with friends, and were able to bring our dog! A lot of the other places didn’t allow dogs, and this was a major plus, as we wanted to be able to bring our lab for the weekend too. We hiked Tallulah, and had such good food in Clayton. Maria was so thoughtful to give us some recommendations and always answered so quickly. We were already speaking about coming back again to visit. 10/10 cannot recommend this place enough! "
"It is an amazing cabin! The wood work is phenomenal! No curtains but there is no one to see you and it gives great views of the surrounding woods. Had a young bear go by one day. Easy check in and plenty of room! Upstairs A/c struggles to keep up in summer. Otherwise a great stay we would do again! "
"We enjoyed our stay at Eva’s cabin. It was a little difficult to find as we arrived after sunset, but were provided great instructions by Eva and her daughter! Property is nice and exactly what we expected and more for our family of 5! About 10-15 min away from Ingles grocery and other stores. 15 minutes away from Highland Outpost (snow tubbing) which our kids loved. Fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area :) Hope to visit again soon!"
