Creekside in the Smoky Mtns. has a rejuvenating quality. Something we all need!

Creekside is a tobacco free property located on 6 acres nestled in the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina alongside Drymans Creek. We have just one rental unit, so booking a stay at Creekside, you will be the only guest. It is 800 square feet all on one level from your car to the door with bath and shower one step up. The unit has been remodeled on the lower level of our home overlooking Drymans Creek with a view of the mountains and a horse pasture . It has a covered deck and private entrance. It is most private and quiet. Listen to the serene sounds of the crystal clear water rushing over the rocks, take in the mountain view from the deck with the creek below. Watch horses graze in the neighboring pasture. Walk the creek taking in natures splendor. You might like to pan for gold or hunt for arrow heads in the creek! Hike the many trails nearby. You will especially want to visit Pickens Nose a rock outcrop on top of the mountain and stand at 5200 ft and look into the valley below. The Appalachian trail is nearby and water falls abound. Our area has been the setting for Hollywood movies too! The original "Fugitive" was filmed nearby. The train wreck is still visible too! "Deliverance", "Last of the Mohicans". Most recently "3 Bill Boards Outside Ebbing Missouri" to mention a few. If you are an antique motorcycle enthusiast you'll want to visit "Wheels Through Time" motorcycle museum showcased on TV as the show "What's in the barn". There's so much to see and do you won't want to leave! Motorcycles are welcome with easy access from highway. We have covered parking for motorcycles if needed. Also in the event of a motorcycle break down, we have a trailer setup for transporting large touring bikes and a good shop to take it to.

Very easy to get to (directions/roads) and easy to unload car and get settled. Food establishments close by. Just enjoyed sitting on the porch/deck and relaxing. Trails around the property and brook kept me entertained but not too much exercise so I came back home rested and relaxed. Accomodations were beautiful, clean, and restful. Hosts were great.

This place is AMAZING The hosts were very understanding of our need to be antisocial. we showed up, were greeted, they offered to help us settle in, we declined, they offered company, we declined, we didn't see them again until checkout. This place is beautiful and very quiet. Perfect place to relax and I genuinely don't think I could have found anywhere better ESPECIALLY for this price. They have a lovely selection of games/DVDs. Will definitely be coming back as soon as possible

Beautiful Place to Stay

Plenty of room inside and outside. All the amenities you can imagine.The outside areas and creek below are very relaxing as well as an open Mountain View from the porch. Very private and homeowners will answer any questions you have about the area. Would highly recommend a stay here!!!

Would definitely book again!

My husband and I had a lovely getaway at Creekside! Very quiet and private. The soothing sound of the creek and the view from the porch was our favorite! Location was great and close to restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. We had no trouble finding our way there. Creekside is super clean and decorated nicely, an all-around great place to rest and unwind. The hosts are so wonderful and very helpful. They were there to greet us upon arrival. Super kind couple with great recommendations about the area. We look forward to a return stay at Creekside!

Great Place to Relax!

The hosts were wonderful! We enjoyed breakfast and dinner out on the covered deck watching the horses nearby and the flowing creek. Peaceful yet plenty of things to do nearby. We will go back!

Spectacular! Gorgeous Serene Proptery

This was truly an amazing getaway for us, The Host Joe & Joceline was Simply Marvelous! We completely enjoyed everything. The place the company along with the Privacy. Beautiful and relaxing

My husband and I absolutely love staying at Creekside! It is always quiet and peaceful. It's far enough from the busyness of town to enjoy the mountain view with the relaxing sound of the creek on the porch, but close enough to get to town with a short ride! Great Times

A business trip in the grasp of Hurricane Helene. The location and abode was great. A getaway into the mountains with beautiful scenery in spite of the storm. Owners are great, friendly folks and their goal is to make you happy and welcome. Will definitely visit again, hopefully with better weather. All was well and we were extremely happy with the arrangement. Wonderful trip.

Ideal Stay for Peace, Beauty, and Rest!

I cannot rave enough! The Volks are gracious and Caring hosts who strike the perfect balance of help when needed and privacy for all. The apartment is well stocked, the view is amazing and the grounds are ideal. We walked the creek, saw lots of deer and wildlife, sat on the porch for hours and listened to the rushing creek waters. It was hard to leave.

Amazing place!

It is so difficult to put into words how great our stay was! From the beautiful, comfortable, clean home to the quiet, relaxing porch with the sound of the creek and view of the beautiful horses. Not to mention the wonderful hosts! They were so kind and welcoming and went out of their way to help us when we had am issue arise with our vehicle. We will certainly be back again!
