The Dillard House Restaurant was wonderful! We did breakfast and dinner, both meals offered plenty of tasty, southern style food at a reasonable price. The pool was exceptionally clean. We had a nice and spacious suite. Great place for a weekend visit.

Property is going through major renovations, Our room was clean but very dated, pictures of the property did not represent what we experienced. I would not stay with this property again until construction is complete. The service and staff were very professional and friendly.

The main lobby and restaurant are amazing; the staff were extremely helpful and kind. It really comes down to which building you stay in. We stayed in Valley View and when we walked in, there was a paper canvas left on the floor where some faculty had obviously been painting recently. I want to say there was a timeless charm, but honestly it just felt dated. There was also a cricket chirping in our room all night that we were unable to find and unable to ignore.

Always look forward to my stay, away from the busyness of Atlanta. Yes, the property is under renovation… however, the restaurant, bar, lobby are absolutely beautiful. They have done an amazing job. Accommodations were comfortable, cozy with a rocking chair in the porch overlooking a meadow, mountain in the background and silence. I come for the silence, peaceful beauty and amazing staff.

This property will be a fantastic place....in about 2 years. Lots of construction right now. The owner's vision for his property is quite extensive. Sitting on porch of room rn tho is not too peaceful with all the construction. I'm not complaining because we enjoyed hearing about the plans. Just letting you know what you'll get. Staff is wonderful! Food excellent!! My only complaint - no coffee served on weekdays. We had to use the Keurig in the room. The only pods provided were light roast and decaf. We ran to the dollar store for milk and made it work. The rooms need medium and dark roast pods. But this could all be overlooked if they served coffee in the lobby.

First the Dillard's house has the most beautiful view of the mountains it was so gorgeous we really loved eating in the front dining room and enjoying the delicious food at the restaurant. The staff was very nice, and we had a drink at the bar; Carlton the bartender was interesting and made a killer cocktail.🎉 Our room was very clean but it's a walk into the 1960s... The room furnishings were very old vintage upholstery 😬I would say but the mattress was new and the towels were clean.They had two guys outside playing music on the lawn. The guys on the lawn were versatile with the music but once "Freebird" started we had to go. It was July 4th & there were a few weird things... They had a fire pit roaring, right next to the musicians well it was hot very hot outside and you couldn't sit close to the music because the fire made it way too hot ..s'mores on July 4th come on? it's Georgia ice cream Popsicles or shaved ice would have been way smarter and helped people sit on the lawn through the heat.
