"The room was a superb find. Is not a new room; however is very comfortable, clean, spacious, close to everything and with lots of amenities. Its location is right in the middle of Downtown Historic Hilo. Close to the bus terminal which can take you the Volcanos Park and other locations of Hilo. Just get the bus schedule and be aware that the schedules can change and is not as clear. Ask the drivers to be sure. Our host Michele was very helpful to show and point the area and where to go. Thank you Michele, until next time."

"Very nice 3bdroom house. Well equiped bathrooms and kitchens.FYI for future guest- they have beach chairs, floats, and snorkel for you to use. We had already rented our snorkles when we got there, but if I'd know I would have just used theirs.I think we were there in an unseasonably warm period and the main rooms were really warm and humid. We ended up eating dinner in the bedroom which had AC. Our last day was a bit cooler.The house was well equiped with towels and extra bedding. Beds were comfortable. Other than me not realizing how much I need AC (no fault to the host) everything was perfect."

"I can see why this place gets high ratings. Frankly it was terrific in every way. Kevin our host went out of his way to make our stay just perfect. The outdoor screened in patio was lovely. Be sure to explore the garden, there were so many special things to discover. Bravo Kevin. And thank you."

"The house is lovely. Thank God for the window air conditioners and laundry machines. We really liked the decor and it had everything we needed. FYI, the bathroom sink is very high. I'm 5'5" and I had to stand on tippy toes to wash my face. Not a big deal, though. There is also no recycling bin in the kitchen but we just kept recycling in a bag and walked it out. I also didn't realize that Hilo is the rainy side of the Big Island, lol, but that's on me. For activities, we enjoyed kayaking with Ocean Adventures (Eric was our amazing guide) and of course driving to Volcano National Park, which is much closer on this side of the island. The Japanese gardens in Hilo are lovely. However, the real highlight of Hilo was the culinary scene. Two Ladies Kitchen mochi is amazing. There will be a line but totally worth it. The shaved ice at the farmers market is also a must. For dinners, our favorite was Sushi Hideo. They only take reservations and only through the Yelp App but wow, worth the planning ahead. Other good places were Pineapple, and Pesto Bay Cafe. Papas Palaoa Bakery was also amazing, especially the cinnamon rolls and sourdough baked with poi. If you want a tattoo while there, South Seas tattoo shop with Matt is the best tattoo shop I've ever been to."

"A great space for an awesome, peaceful getaway. The property is private and enclosed by natural rainforest vegetation so you get the feeling of being surrounded by nature while still being walking distance from downtown and restaurants. Host was friendly and communicative throughout the process. Thank you, had a great time!"

"This condo was a great location for us to stay to explore the Hilo area and also to go to Volcanoes National Park. The condo was well located, very clean and well appointed. The air conditioning in the bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. However, the living and dining rooms did not cool down and were uncomfortably warm at times.We enjoyed exploring the Hilo area and the National Park was awesome!"
