"Beautiful hotel with impeccable service. Everyone was so kind from check in to checkout where they gave us candies in our rental car. We only had one night but the location, views and cleanliness were all great. "
"Staff are very friendly and helpful. The size of the room is reasonable, and location is unbeatable. Bathroom is clean but has a slight misty smell. However, this would not stop us from going back. "
"Clean, spacious, everything we needed! Staff was kind and helpful. Parking is available and there is a cute cafe downstairs. They have free luggage lockers too. Highly recommended!"
"Room is clean, spacious and has a nice panoramic view of Nagasaki harbour. This hotel has separate indoor and outdoor onsen, and is 5 minutes drive to Mt Inasa observatory and 10 minutes from Nagasaki Station. "
"Service from the staff was top notch. Moca went way above expectations with her performance. She made my day. The only knock I have is the lack of laundry facilities. "

Climb the hill and be treated to two features: a panoramic city view and estates of wealthy magnates. The harbor activity below is fascinating to watch.
Nagasaki may be a bit off the usual beaten path for first-time tourists to Japan but I couldn't recommend it more strongly. Fascinating history with a great mix of historical cultural influences (Dutch, Chinese, etc) still apparent today.

If you are wondering whether its worth visiting Nagasaki I think it is. There is a lot more to Nagasaki than just the A-bomb museum. For example, their panoramic mountain and historic city areas.

Nagasaki had much charm to offer. Do not miss the Observatory at sundown. One caveat: it's difficult to find morning coffee and breakfast options. Also, make dinner plans early because the restaurants close too early. Otherwise it's just 7/11 left.

We went there after new years break, so Night view was beautiful and not crowded at all. Easy to walk around, but a day pass for tram was useful too.
