"We had a wonderful stay at the Iguazu Jungle Lodge! The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very good, for both the included breakfast and for dinner. I love how natural the surroundings are and especially loved our balcony looking over the river and jungle. There are a few other comments mentioning the surrounding neighborhood being less than desirable, but we didn’t have any problem with it and enjoyed walking to town. Overall a fantastic place and I would highly recommend...

"A pousada é simples, não há tv no quarto ou na área comum. A vista do meu quarto era incrível, o que foi o ponto alto da estadia.
O anfitrião só aparece na hora do check in, depois para qql suporte a comunicação foi via WhatsApp. Até o check out me informei por ali e se eu não tivesse perguntado ninguém teria me informado dos procedimentos, que eram deixar a chave no quarto e sair, não há ninguém que recebe.
O café da manhã não tem variedade que justifique o valor de 35,00 na minha opinião( pão...

"Room was spotless. View from the room was incredible. Staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. Server Gabriel was an incredible person and really made my girlfriend’s birthday extra special. The guest services staff was able to arrange the room for my girlfriend’s birthday with balloons and decorations to give her an incredible surprise. I 100% recommend this property for any occasion and will 100% be coming back!"

The host does not include the exact location of the property in the listing and did not provide details about how to get to the property until after booking was complete.
What the host hid from the booking: The property is up on a hill inside the park, which is NOT accessible by uber. You can only get to the property from a very rough and unsafe dirt road. The only option is to rent a car or hire a driver for extra cost.
The owner did not disclose this very important detail before booking and when we realized it was too much of an inconvenience for us and would impact the quality of our trip, we were already past the refund period and we lost 50% of our booking fee (coincidence I’m sure…).
This withholding of information until after booking is at best an unethical business practice and worst potentially a scam. Be careful with booking and ensure this meets your needs before booking so you don’t lose money like we did.
