"We had a wonderful 1-night stay at the Franz Joseph Oasis. Everything from our check in when we arrived to cleanliness of the room and staff responsiveness to our every question was wonderful. The young lady at the front desk is wonderful and took care of us with a smile. A must consider hotel if you are visiting Franz Joseph."

"Loved the roomy cabin, had a fridge and microwave kitchen table and chairs, and kitchen sink. Great for making small meals. Missing some toilet paper but called the after hours number and they delivered within a few minutes! Dryer doesn't dry too well, needed 2 tries to dry a load. $4 to wash, $8 to dry! Otherwise the room was lovely and clean and we had the most amazing view of mt cook. "

"Clean room and great location, right next to groceries store and restaurants and adventure activities shops. They also have a big common kitchen where you can store and cook your own food. We booked a family private room but basically it's a hostel"

"The view of Mt.Cook was incredible. Although the description of the hotel mentions that each room has a view, I was still surprised when I pulled back the curtains. Just wow! The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the surrounding paths, trails, and walkways kept us outdoors until after sunset. We were fortunate to have witnessed a beautiful sunset, too. "

"Room was tight but comfortable. We came in late after an all-day excursion. They gave us to muffins and a delicious lentil veggie stew, which was all we needed before turning in. The clean, busy dining area and kitchen were well equipped with a great coffee machine that made delicios hot java!"
