"The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! "

"My family of 5 had a great stay! Lots of room inside and out. Kitchen is stocked. Bedrooms were spacious and closets/dressers worked for all the clothes/stuff. Linens and towels were very nice. "The home was amazing to stay at, extremely peaceful residence to stay at. every room was serene and cozy. This rental is clean, very well stocked with everything needed for sleep, baths, meal prep and dining. it was the perfect setting for our family time, relaxing and lounging in the indoor and outdoor spaces. Kayaking on the lake was so fun and off the Long Island sound. So close to beaches,dining and shopping. Looking forward to next trip! "
