In my experience 4 bedrooms with 4 king beds is a rare find, but ideal for recreating with our three adult children & their spouses, plus a small dog. Each bedroom accommodated its king sized bed and guest’s baggage, without being cramped. TV in each bedroom plus one in upstairs and downs stairs living areas, which were both well furnished. Everything was clean and well organized. Kitchen well equipped - cookware, tableware, cutlery, etc. Cabinets stocked w/ essentials & extras; Essential small kitchen appliances, gadgets, & tools; Adequate seating for comfortably dining together. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and supplies, like soap, shampoo, conditioner, TP and tissues. Kudos for including First Aid kit and Fire blanket. Outside space with abundant seating options, on both the upper deck & patio below. A bunch of games for inside and out. Although located at intersection of two main roads, fairly quiet. Restful views from patio & upper deck belied proximity to Route 1. Property abuts old farm house, presenting a rustic background to the contemporary retreat. Just minutes away - just 2-5 miles - from just about everything we wanted to do, from shopping and dining to the major local attractions and parks. Our host did an exceptional job preparing the house. Thought of just about everything. And very quick responding to the few questions we had. House rules simple & clear. An EXCEPTIONAL experience and would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Annual Family Get Away

Our stay at the Merritt Farm was perfect for our annual vacation with our adult children and their spouses. There was plenty of room, comfortable sleeping and easy access to local beaches and all that Mystic and Groton have to offer. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Our host, Hope, thought of everything you will need while traveling! Very clean throughout and beds were comfy! The stained glass windows are beautiful and add to the decor. Plenty of room for everyone!

Wonderful stay

We celebrated our daughter’s 16th birthday in Mystic and this was the perfect venue to stay at. It was centrally located and has space to sit back and relax. The barns are beautiful and we were lucky to see an amazing pink sky sunset. The hosts were also very accommodating as we needed to drop off a cake early to put in the refrigerator. Thank you!!

Great place, great host

The place was immaculate - cleaner that just about any hotel I've ever been in. Host was attentive - When I had issues with the door she texted me immediately and sorted it out. Then when she heard we were going to grill, she sent over two extra tanks of propane. Check out couldn't have been easier.

Very Well Stocked

The host was so easy to communicate with and the property was very well stocked. We did not need to bring anything she had it all there and it was nice that someone took pride in their rental. Beds were very comfortable they all seemed new. ( No U shaped beds, renter you know what i mean:)

Room for everyone

Met with family for a weekend wedding. The owner was flexible with our schedule and we were so grateful. Thank you again. 4 king size beds with comfortable mattresses and luxury linens. Plenty of towels and extras. The upstairs kitchen has everything you need to cook though we didn’t have time. Maybe next time. As we will be back.

Fabulous House

This house was absolutely wonderful! It had everything we needed. Well appointed, with 4 bedrooms, ( king mattresses) Everything you might need is there. From soap, shampoo, dryer, ice maker, to lovely linens, and blankets. The A/C works terrific, as did all the appliances! Hope offered everything you might need in a house and more. She is and was very accommodating to our questions and needs. The house itself is well situated to Mystic, Foxwoods, and Mohegan. We took advantage of all Look Forward to returning!

Such a great place!

Myself and 7 friends stayed for a night to celebrate a girls weekend in Mystic and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. Hope was so communicative the entire time and got back to me quickly if I had a question. We loved that it was only a 7 min drive from Downtown Mystic. Everything was clean. The house its self is super cool with the stained glass windows throughout. I wish we stayed in a warmer month so that we could’ve enjoyed the beautiful deck that was there. Just we’ll just have to come back and we gladly would! Thanks again Hope!

Couldn't Be Happier!

Oh my gosh, truly the best place we've ever experienced! GORGEOUS place, exactly as described! Hope our host was fantastic -- great communication, responsive! Such nice little touches, like coffee, mouthwash & other toiletries! TV's with cable in every bedroom was very nice after a long day, too. Such a neat place, too! Was a perfect spot for a belated Christmas celebration with my older kids, who live in that general area. Thank you so much, Hope! Will probably be back again next year to do the same thing! :)

Beautiful house, views, and amazing host!

The house is really pretty with great lighting and beautiful stained glass windows. The beds are all King-sized with very comfortable mattresses. There is plenty of room to gather as a group or spread out into either a big living room, a TV/Game room, a sunny dining room, or on the deck in the warmer months. The location is perfectly close to anything in Mystic and Groton. Hope, the host, is the most thoughtful, responsive, and dedicated host. She has thought of everything a group could possibly need, including condiments, saran wrap, napkins, toilet paper, dishwasher, high chairs, baby gates...the list goes on. We had such a nice time!

Absolutely Amazing!

This host had everything you could ever need! Need beach chairs? check. Need mouthwash? check. Need extra bedding for unannounced guests? check. It was so perfectly located to town of Mystic, with lots of privacy and quiet. The house itself was wonderful! Full spacious bedrooms and 2 living rooms. We couldn't have asked for a better house for our stay and would 100% recommend. Plus the host was extremely responsive and gave lots of details and events in the area! 10 out of 10!

A Fantastic Week In Mystic

We can't say enough good things about this area or this home. My wife and I love Mystic and all of its charm and splendor. The food is out of this world, the attractions are delightful and the people are wonderful as well. Hope really has thought of everything as far as the amenities go. My wife is on several injectable medications and we forgot to bring a sharps container, but there was one under the bathroom sink. I bought two rolls of dog poop bags but that wasn't enough for our three happy puppies but there was an entire box of them for our use on the table when you walk in. She left us a pastry to bake in the freezer and when they say linens are provided they're not kidding. In the past that meant a towel for each person but here the whole closet was stocked! I could go on and on but you get the idea! Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us!

Wonderful, responsive host. Beautiful home with 4 separate bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. 2 bedrooms are on the upper level and 2 bedroom n the lower level. Each floor has a bathroom/ shower. Plenty of parking for multiple family or guests.
