"The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! "

"The staff were wonderful, including the manager, who calmly and kindly helped us through a booking issue with Expedia in that we only had one room for the stay, while we had booked two through Expedia. The staff made an extra effort to make Christmas morning special, by dressing up in holiday jumpers and the buffet included luscious strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate chips fashioned into adorable santas. A plus for the staff.
The hotel was beautifully decorated in all public areas and they made a special effort to decorate for the holidays inside and out. The pool areas was nice but a tad chilly. Gym was clean and workable.Towels, water and seating was abundant in both. The hotel was very clean as were our rooms. We had adjoining doubles, which was convenient for our family.
We loved the public spaces by the gas fireplace and enjoyed the very cool outdoor atrium with gas warming fires under lights and the open sky.
The beds were extremely firm, which was not great for our backs. This was the biggest drawback.
The location is fantastic. We walked to the Aquarium and Olde Mistick VIllage, which is truly a fantastic spot for specialty shops, dining and movie theater.
We had a short drive to the Seaport, which would have been walkable if it weren't 26 degrees with a windchill factor that brought us down into almost the single digits.
What a great little Christmas vacation we had in Mystic, in large part thanks to the Mystic Hilton. "
"My wife and i absolutely loved our stay with Lisa and Jonathan. The loft was so cozy and clean it had an unbelievable view of the harbor, the location was just perfect! Lisa and Jonathan were so accommodating we had to adjust our stay the week before and they couldn't have been more understanding. We are looking foward to our next stay in the spring! "LOVED this place! The location was perfect, unit was fully stocked and perfect for us. The view to wake up with is amazing and breathtaking. Owners were great and so easy to work with. The ducks made our day. We will stay again for sure!"
"This is a quaint New England property with a nautical feel. The house has a warm feel. It’s close to downtown Mystic and a short ride to Foxwoods. The host communicated so well. We will be returning for another girls weekend! "
Harbor View Landing, Mystic CT - The Block Island Waterfront Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"My mother, daughter and I had an amazing time staying in the Block Island property. It was perfect for the one night we spent in Mystic. It was so clean, convenient and comfortable. The hosts added little classy touches like a complementary bottle of wine, blankets for outside and even binoculars to check out the harbor. Can’t wait to go back when we are able to spend more time.
